Ho hi all!
I decided to start a thread for all member who have dedicated themselves
to dominating in the arcade!

If you have then post here and be a member, here you can challenge others.
etc... if you want to be a member all you have to do is try to dominate in the arcade and post here.

God bless,
ZiP

I certainly don't have the time to dominate in the arcade (if I could, we have some talent here), but I do waste my time in it, when I have time to waste. I wouldn't be upset if I got on some high score lists.

My only accomplishment in the few minutes I've played is being apart of the seven way tie for first in Penguin Bashing...

The only thing I play in the REAL arcade is "Dance Dance Revolution"

I'm not good with most arcade style games, so I suck at these games... I am ok at tetris, but probably never get 10 levels on my own.

I play in the arcade here and there.... but, I've spent too much money on my other video games to neglect them.... *goes back to playing Ninja Gaiden*

I've played quite a bit in the arcades since they were opened. I plan on dominating again in Space Invaders as soon as I have an hour or two to kill one day.

I never played arcade games much... and as a result I suck at the CAA arcade...

Timing

BTW, does it automatically clip my sig if my message is too long?

It automatically clips it if you have already posted at least once on the same thread.

I also can't figure out how to get a good score in Penguins...I get about the same score every time. :eyeroll:

Penguin Bashing is hard to get high scores in. I lucked out by getting the high score by "1" point. ONE POINT...

Woot... I am champion... bow before my one point... :shady:

Actually, Lochaber, you're on even terms with at least six other people. I think the game must max out at that point or something. Fortunately for you, you accomplished this feat first, so you keep your trophy.

I could do well at Space Invaders, but I simply don't have the time or patience. You can see my patheticly short work on the top ten list, but...

Thanks UC, that made me feel a WHOLE lot better... :shady:. Not that I already felt that I had cheated in some way by beating it by one point, now I found out that I have the trophy by a technicality. I am soo relieved...

I am being sarcastic with my sarcasm.

Oh, sure. Go right on ahead. No hard feelings here. I'm dancing a jig, I am.

I'm not sure game time is logged if you don't submit a score. In regards to the copter game, how exactly does it progress? This is all I know, which will be somewhat embarassing:
1-500: walls
501-1000: flipping walls
1001-1500: pinwheels

Can JediSonic or someone who has been further fill me in? I'm just curious.

Ok all you expert arcaders, do you have any tips on geting a high score on the Chopper Challenge game?

Cheat.

I mean, uh, have skill. Yeah, that's it.

I've found each segment generally has a location you should stick to. The top at the beginning, bottom at the second phase, and I'm not sure about the third. Also, try to hold the mouse instead of clicking repeatedly. But I'm not the best person to ask...

Arcade!?!?!? ARCADE!?!?!?! As if I don't waste enough time here and on other bloody message boards! Somebody get me an IV full of coffee, else I'll never get a high score or my classes finished.

From what I've gotten to the pinwheel part goes on and on and on and nothing seems to change in the way of the shapes after that besides the boundaries curving up and down at random widths.

No, but there is a bandwidth-friendly hack that only allows your sig to show up once per thread - on your first post.

I like the arcade games here, and have fun playing them (mostly Tetris) but I doubt you'll ever see me on the high score list again.

Since you are Champion, andyroo, I'll take your word for it. I'm disapointed...
