In the state of Alaska there is a curfew - 11pm on weekdays and 1am on the weekends. During the summer the curfew is 1am.
I think curfews are a good thing, really - it keeps the teenagers out of trouble or it keeps the teenagers who may be in the way of danger out of it, etc.

In Arizona it's on a city by city basis. Any where from 10 to 12 on weeknights. The Japanese curfew really doesn't surprise me at all.

We don't have any in N Ireland that I know of... You can usually here kids kicking round the streets in the wee hours of the morning.

There are curfews in the US, but as every one has demonstrated, there is no federal regulation on curfews and so they can very from town to town or city to city.
There are no curfews where I live, at least not any that are strickly enforced.

I'm pretty sure that there is a curfew in my town (back home), but I seriously doubt that it has ever been enforced. Most of the cops have kids in school, so they would have to arrest them if they actually enforced it.
In theory curfews are a good idea, because it discourages minors from getting into trouble late at night; but I don't know how well they work in practice. My guess would be that they don't work very well, since most of the people I know stayed out late all of the time. The problem is that strictly enforced curfews would make it seem like we're living under a totalitarian regime.

Canadian law imposes a curfew for people under 16yrs old here after midnight. Enforcement of course, is generally up to the municipalities, so it depends on the locality (I believe most towns do it enforce it, or at least use it at discretion). However, I don't think there's much of a penalty; the cops pick you up, take you home, and talk to your parents (since it's their obligation to ensure your whereabouts).

Here, we have a curfew of 12:00 AM if you're out without an adult. My curfew is 11:00 anyway, so it's not like it matters...

Last I checked, Texas does it city by city. My hometown here has a 11 pm curfew if you're under 17, and I think something outrageous like 6 am if you're above it. *looks at age* Yay for me. ^^

Why we need a curfew is beyond me, but ours is set at 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM for all days of the week. It isn't taken incredibly seriously, but we've probably prosecuted a few people. Kansas is entirely on a city by city basis.
I agree that curfews are generally good ideas, just not extremely enforcable ones.

I think they're a bad idea (and I don't go out at all). Cause if this is a free country we should be able to go out as late as we want unless we are disturbing the peace we is a different story.

... At which point you have to go home any way to prepare for the next day.
There is a curfew here, but it isn't really enforced.

I don't know if there is curfew in any city in my state or not. There is a [disruptive-]sound ordinance in some city's; in Montgomery I know there's one that starts at 22:00 on all nights.
