BobtheDuck. He will be missed. And let's not forget Milly either, although what she did may have been wrong, (I won't rehash details for her sake) it's sad to see her go just the same.

If one of your particular weaknesses happens to manifest itself on this forum, I don't see that as a reason to leave. We all have our weaknesses. Some of us (myself included more often than you might think) might be argumentative. Others of us might be gossips or slanderers. Others might be prone to post here out of proud or selfish motives, which might not be easily apparent just from simply reading our posts. Others can waste time and energy in foolishness. Bear in mind that I am not condoning this, but just bringing to light the fact that we are all sinners, even here on CAA. If you were in a secular forum, and concerned that such behavior might hurt your witness, I guess I could see your leaving. For the most part. however, those who are here are mature and forgiving - willing to bear with their weaker brethren, because they know that they could fall into the same sins except for the grace of God.

I will also say that arguing is not necessarily a bad thing. We are called to be skillful in spiritual warfare against the vain machinations of man that exalt themselves above the truth of God's word. The important thing is that we realize which battles are the important ones to fight. If I feel it necessary to argue or confront someone, I either do it through PM or take it to Theologyweb to preserve the peace and respect the policies of CAA. I encourage you to try these alternatives so that you can continue with us here on CAA.

Put this in perspective, everyone: There are currently 20 members with greater than 1000 posts. Cephas and Millyfan are not in this count, reaching 22. Only four of these have left. It isn't that crippling (though in general they will be sorely missed).

This is silly. I think he is left yesterday......

Yeah, maybe it is. But at the same time, some of us have been here with Michael for months, and have "seen" him every day, so it is a bit of a big deal.

Michael, I did have a great deal of respect for you and the way you carried yourself here. You were one of the very rew "reformed" people here I knew of, and therefore I saw a lof of your posts. I don't think I'm the only reformed person left here, but maybe I am. Anyway, farewell and all that.

Its not the post count, just the fact that so many members are leaving at the same time. I know I've not been on for that long but this seems like a second home to me and its sad to see people leaving.
