I was wondering if anybody knew of some good sites to get avatars. I want a new one but i don't know where to find one. Help!

Another place you could try is Daydream Graphics...I think the URL is http://www.daydreamgraphics.com but I always forget it...so I could be wrong o.O

I searched for hours the one day for good avatars. I only found two or three that I liked so I gave up. Instead, I just found a picture I liked and cropped it, what do u think of it?

Very cool, Emanku. I like it. I got mine by just grabbing it off of Google Image Search. Find one that you like (and is the right size) and right-click the image. Then go to Properties and copy & paste the address URL.

That is where I have gotten many of the current Avatars I use. It's a nice site with small 48x48 sized Avatars that fit on most message boards and AIM. I know not all of them are cool and animated, but they have a LOT from many different anime and game series.

I tend to agree. Also, there is a site for anime themes for AIM that has many different pictures and icons to pick from. Also, I have another in addition to that. Here goes:
