How old does a thread have to be before posting in it is considered 'gravedigging'? Thanks and God bless you!

I'm sure there were a couple threads that answered this already, but my new member's guide also mentions it:
A New Member's Guide to CAA wrote: 14. Please don't gravedig threads. Check the post dates of a thread before you post in it. Avoid posting in a thread more than 2 months old unless you have something very important to add(something more than "I agree", "I don't agree", ect...). And most of the time, old threads need to remain in the depths of CAA and not brought back up to the surface.

Though, something to add on to this; even if you do have something important to add to the topic, posting in a topic over a year old is typically a bad idea. The original posters in the thread may have moved on by this time and no one will really care about the old thread. In which case, it's better to make a new one if you have something to say about the topic.

Is it truly gravedigging if its' a Goof Off thread?

And is reviving a thread between two weeks and two months old considered "Shallow Gravedigging"?
