Wow, I totally missed out on saying Merry Christmas, to everyone! I hope you all had a great one. But I'm really surprised there's not a Happy New Year Thread... lol.

So allow me to wish you all a very awesome new year! I kind of like the idea of a new year, new opportunities, or building on old ones. It's almost like a 'reset' button and brings new focus.

I know it's hokey, but does anyone try to keep resolutions? You don't have to share them, just curious. XD I know I have some, and I REALLY want to keep them this time. Good luck if you try to keep them too!

A happy New Year to you too! I also like having new years - otherwise we're stuck with the same one & that's just boring!

I got some resolutions of my own, one of which is finally attempting to get myself mobile (& a set of wheels would be nice too!)

Happy 2011, everybody! May your new year be more blessed than the last, and may your favorite long-running anime series have less filler in 2011 than it did in 2010!

Just a suggestion to add more substance to the thread - would it work to list some highlights and lowlights of 2010 and some resolutions for 2011?

Um...I try to keep my resolutions, but I usually don't make very many anyways.

I made a resolution years ago to stop making resolutions for New Year's.

So far I've been able to keep it.

For me, I made one resolution - to be honest to people about where God's bringing me and open to God's calling within this direction of life. I've been holding back out of fear, and I've decided that I can't do that any longer.

I hope to as well. 2010 was an excellent year for me regarding this.

I'd also like to get better in my writing, of course. XD But I think what I already mentioned will help with that.

i've got a few new years resolutions, but they're more of goals than anything else. i'd really like to find a church, and get better at drawing.
