Remember Those Days?

Remember when you were little and you would fight with your brother or sister over the most ridiculous things? For example, fighting over who got to push the elevator button and the handicap buttons on the department store door? I remember when my little brother and I would fight over the elevator button, I would often just pick him up and push the button, resulting in him pulling my hair or giving me a smack on the arm. :eyeroll:

Oh my gosh yes...awful, but at the same time interesting memories...
And I love the fact with one of my sisters, (my older one) how we would fight and then within like 20 minutes we'd be all "Let's hang out!" again.

My sister always keeps her nails at a decent length...and she has no problem digging them into your flesh to prove a point. :/

One argument I can remember in particular, is when we got home from Church one day when I was about four. I can remember standing in our room and arguing over whose heart Jesus would live in. X3 It's kind of a cute memory.

And I fought too much with my little sister to bring that up. :/

Aren't you a little too young to be nostalgic?

Not really.

When I was born, my brother was 10 and half years older then me. So, when he left for college and lived on his own, I was only 8.

Plus, to fight with a much older brother wasn't wise and all it would have done was ending up me getting beat up.

I was an only child in my childhood years (read: under the age of double digits) so I don't have the "pleasure" of having those sorts of memories.

Wait, "remember"? You mean like past tense?

Ah, sibling rivalry. Good times. My sister and I are 14 months apart (she's the older) so yeah, we did a lot of that. In the car was the worst:

"Stop lookin' out my window!" <- Me, by the way. :red:
Still, we were very close. Even if we did drive our parents absolutely batcrap sometimes.

Me and my only other sibling didn't really fight that much. In fact, people were always so shocked to find out we were siblings because we got along so well. If anything, we were "partners in crime". :3

Thus why I put pleasure in quotations lol. I always wanted siblings growing up...didn't care if it were a sister or brother, younger or older. God's witty way of granting my wish? He gave me a younger sister, younger brother, older brother, and an older sister (steps) when my parents divorced and remarried. Yeah...lol

I've always said God has a warped sense of humor. Good thing He loves us, too.

My brother who is six years my elder would just pick me up by the legs and repeatedly bash my head against the floor.

Boy, the way Glen Miller played
Songs that made the hit parade.
Guys like us, we had it made.
Those were the days.

And you know who you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.

Didn't need no welfare state,
Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great.
Those were the days.

Yes. And,

I remember doing things things like this, and can now witness similar (and the same) things happening between my younger sisters that had happened between myself and my older sister.
