I don't know if this belongs here or in the computing forum....

I was wondering if anyone here follows the site hackaday and saw anything about the paper and pencil touch pad a while back. I understand the guy that did that hack had an issue with having an even distribution of the graphite and thus issues with creating a more capable touchpad. Well I saw that sharpie had come out with a liquid pencil and I was wondering after the graphite ink set if was still conductive or if sharpie used something other than real graphite to make the ink.

If the ink is still conductive after three days (the period of time in which sharpie says the ink becomes permanent and non-erasable), I was thinking it might be possible to prototype simple projects using hand drawn circuits.

Any ideas on this?
