this is my new bird! it's a quaker parrot! we haven't found out the gender yet, but we will in a couple weeks! it's 4 weeks and 1 day old!

we're calling it cutie for now.... we're not going to "officially" name her, until we:
1. know the gender.( a DNA test is required for us to know that.)
2. know it's personality.

Oh, so cute! ^__^ Does your family raise quaker parrots? Or was it just you had a male and female and then that little bundle of CUTENESS was created? XD I love birds. I've had budgies, finches, and canaries. I've been looking into quaker parrots though as well as cockatiels. Please keep us updated on his/her progress!

Usually parrots are acquired this young so they come to accept you as a member of their "flock" and as part of their socialization to people.

They care less about what you name them and more that you just cuddle and love them. She/He really looks cute. I'm glad to see you have a happy new addition to your family!

Aww, you should keep the name as cutie, it suits him/her because s/he's so adorable!
(though, if it's a male, cutie might be a bit weird. XD)
