Vic Mignogna's Gospel of John recording

If I'm not mistaken, a long time ago Vic Mignogna talked about recording the Gospel of John onto CDs and giving them out at conventions. Today he actually did do that at Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh. I'm not sure how many people took the CDs, which were optional, but I'm very thankful for a guy like Vic to try to reach people like this. I'm praying that they do work to reach people for Christ, to plant seeds in their hearts.
I mentioned this board to Vic and that conversation, and he seemed to remember it. He's a really great guy.

Why does Vic's name sound so familiar? (Wasn't he Ed from FMA?) And what version is it? That is really neat though!

Not trying to dig grave with this thread.
Vic Mignogna needs your help with an outreach ministry! (Really! Yes, you!)
He came to us in early 2008 and Mith started a fundraiser for this project. With the help of us and others for the project, Vic was about to have the recording cd done by the summer of 2008. When I talk to Vic at AWA con in 2008, he said that he just started to give them out to cons at that time. He did tell me that at that time, the project was going very well.
Since I wasn't able to talk to him again in 2009 or make it to AWA, I didn't know if he was still doing this or not or seeing how well the project was going.
Looks like it still is.

I was very lucky to receive a copy of Vic's Gospel of John recording when he came to the local con in my state back in 2009. I'm happy to hear he's still giving them out at cons. ^___^

Yeah I saw him at a con, he had some CD's there and also lead a worship service on the Sunday me and my group were there. Unfortunately I couldn't make the service, but I thought that it sounded cool.
