So, University is almost out for the summer and this weekend we're having the "last class bash". They just releashed the theme, and it's "Superheroes and Supervillains".
It's kinda short notice to come up with a costume. I know a decent amount about comics, mostly marvel to be fair, (American comic books to be clearer) but I'd be comfortable going as something from manga or anime as well, I have definetely toyed with the idea.
Anyway, it's kinda weird because half the people aren't dressing up, and the other half are just dressing up... suggestively (a group of girls going as the powerpuff girls, etc etc.).
I mean. I want to go as either the Green Lantern or Dark Phoenix, but a) I realllyyy don't think I could come up with costumes in a days time and b) I don't want to go FULL out comicy costume if a lot of people aren't even dressing up, but I do still want to dress up.
Does anyone have an costume ideas that aren't terribly cliche', and won't really take a whole lot to put together? I don't want to be the only one who shows up who is completely decked out in a costume (that'd be awesome actually, I'd love that, but I don't have the time or cash...).

Goodness... Being a comic geek myself...I figured this would be almost easy to think up..but I am having issues... A lot of the comic costumes are very...complicated.. xD Goodness. I wish you luck though. if I get an idea, I'll let you know. xDDD
