Yes it's true, the happy couple returns!

I don't have a ton of our pictures back yet--just the ones that have been uploaded to Facebook--but I have them here for your eager perusal. By the way, anyone interested in the full wedding story can read about it on my LJ here.

This was the chapel where we got married. The photographer referred to it as "The Chapel of Lothlorian" XD

Wow! Ashley, you look nothing like how I pictured you. I was pretty close with Nick though.

Anyway, you both look amazing! The cakes are both really cool too. The blue one with the flowers is so cute. And the pac-man one is just awesome. Goldie's right - the chapel really is something out of LOTR.

All the pictures are awesome and fantastic. I also love the Pac-man cake. Nick looks like he could be in an action movie in that picture, XD.

No, with that expression, he'd be in a comedy. He'd be the dashing conventional spy with all the toys and ego but no ability as a spy, while some stumpy little dude would secretly do the real spying and clean up after him when he would make mistakes like accidentally shooting the caterer. It would be an espionage satire filled with slapstick humor and WHY DID YOU NOT FILM IT WHILE HE HAD THE TUX RENTED?!?!?!

Also, that is an awesome chapel. Where is it? I want to look up the architect and force him to design a secluded village for me somewhere in New Zealand.

Nick's gun was care of his best man/gun aficionado David, who thought having tuxes meant having Bond cosplay. I knew nothing until the wedding day.

As for the cakes, the wedding one was pretty good, even though I didn't actually eat more than the requisite feeding part until much later after the wedding. The pac-man one looked better than it tasted, I'm afraid, but no one cared because it was so freakin' cool!

I know!! I couldn't believe that place was actually open for a wedding within the next 10 years. One of my bridesmaids is from that area, and she knew about it. The architect is Fay Jones, and sadly, he has passed away. Sorry. But he did do another pretty chapel in the area. Google Thorncrown Chapel. Ours was, I think, prettier (and cheaper!)

Actually we did not. The thoroughly ridiculous car was in the shop until Thursday. We drove it back to Texas though, where it was invited to street race and promptly killed a starter.
