This is a cool recipe I got from my aunt for a chocolate cake. It only takes 5 minutes to make!!! I thought it tasted okay but, if any of y'all ever decide to make it I recommend adding just a bit more sugar than it calls for. ^^

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

It is a lot of fun to make. ^^ .....you just may want to add some chocolate chips to make it taste better......
It tastes um like something you'd cook in a microwave. ^^ Y'all make think otherwise....I guess I'm just picky.....

Tried it, and made a few modifications. I used a small bowl instead of a mug, added more chocolate chips and sugar, and it turned out pretty well. The cake was slightly bland though, so I would recommend eating ice cream with it. Maybe add some cinnamon? I'll have to try that out next time.

Ooo, nice idea. 'Cause who wouldn't want to make cake in a short amount of time? XD

I might try it someday... maybe, maybe not. I've not really modified recipe's to make them taste good, though, so Idk if I can manage that. :/

My friends and I discovered this recipe in a random magazine the other day and tried it right away. It is a bit bland and quite dense/compact -we didn't have chocolate chips- so I suggest definitely putting those in and possibly adding some icing sugar or having t with ice cream. It's still pretty good for cake made in 5 minutes.
