Wat are the injuries that you got doing really stupid things?
When i was like five and i had Just figured out how to swing really, really high. well I thought that i could go so high that i might be able to fly!:eyeroll: So stupid i was then:shake:! Well i went as high as i could on the swing, then i jumped off
!*sigh* I must have been 20 feet in the air! well it felt great to feel the air rushing through your hair! i had that feeling for about three seconds! Then the only thing i felt was pain! I broke my arm pretty bad that day.*sighs agian*

Once when I was five and really weak I tryed to throw a brick over ther fence but it came down and hit me on the head.
Once I was running and I stubed my pinkie toe so hard the nail came off.
Once I was running and I stubbed my big toe so hard the entire front of my toe got ripped off.Like because my toes were sorta like Frodos fingers from LOTR.
th worst part about this was that I was in my front yard anddddd my door was locked so I had to wait till My mom came to the door.
ot to mention it was bleeding like crazy like as in my whole foot was crimson. And the end of the toe hung on by a thred so every time I took a step it moved and hurted.
One time I was playing with a scissors and I cut my entire left index.

One day at work I was trying to open a box, and I got the bright idea of borrowing the scissors from the photo lab to cut the tape off. I ended up slicing right through the front of my finger.

I got my stupidest injury when I was 8. I was out in the yard playing with my pocket knife, stabbing a stump and such. For some reason I tried to use the reverse side of the knife blade, causing it to fold back on my fingers, giving me some nasty cuts.

Let's see...in more recent memory I tried to tear of a piece of copper floss for an experiement by wrapping it around my finger and pulling hard (just like you rip of a piece of dental floss) but the copper sliced very deeply through my finger instead of breaking.
Once when I was about 5 or 6 I went to sit down on some metal bleachers but didn't have my feet firmly planted on the step beneath me. I slid right through the bleachers and whacked the back of my skull hard enough against the bleacher to require 4 stitches to close the wound.
Another classic occurred when I was about 3 or 4. I took all the drawers out of my dresser and it looked like it had rungs just like a ladder. Needlessly to say I had to climb it. Just as I was about to reach the top the whole dresser fell on me. My nose is dented to this day. Stupid dresser.

Hmm...last year some time I was playing twister at church with some of my friends and stepped on a glaringly large pin. It was almost all the way in my foot, and just about broke off in there. Once when I was really little I pulled on a horses tail and it stepped on my foot. Nothing terribly gruesome...*sigh*

What a tragic bunch we have here. ^_~
When I was five, I slipped on some ice and fell on my face (best of all, I couldn't catch myself because I had pulled my cold hands inside my coat) just after someone warned me. It was five feet from the front door of a hospital, though, so my scrapes and chipped tooth got more than enough attention from all the nurses.

When I go around pillars and such, I have this thing I do. I hit the front with my right hand, the side with my left, and the back with my right. One day I was in a warehouse, and one of the pillars I was walking past had an old circuit box on it. I thought my right hand was low enough that I would not hit it, but no. The resulting cut was in the shape of the corner, and it left a scar. My mom says it looks like I was in a knife fight.

When I was little I was balancing on these posts by the parking lot and slipped and hit my knee right on a bolt on the side of the pole. It tore right open and gushed and . . . yea . . . it was stupid seeing as the teachers always told us not to do it and we did anyway, especially when they weren't looking.

oh goodness, you all must have worried your parents or loved ones very much!!
I can't recall such injuries at the moment but I know the most annoying injuries were knife cuts from cutting veggies and papercuts. Sorry, nothing dramatic.

This thread is so gruesome.
The only stupid thing I remember doing, although I'm sure I've done plenty, is the time I got all my fingers stuck in a car door. SLAM! They were all there and I couldn't open the door until my friend put the key in and unlocked it. She was nervous and kept scrambling around for the key. I didn't scream and started laughing, trying to calm her down as my hand lost all feeling. Ahhh, numbness and the God-given ability to stop hurting when it gets to overkill pain. Fortunately, I still have all my digits.

Been there. Still got a scar on each middle finger from slamming them into doors. Funny thing is is that I got the injuries like a month apart from each other.

I managed to decide to balance on a round pole about 4 feet over concrete.... I fell, and sprained my wrist, then some one threw a backpack at me as I was laying on the ground, and hit my wrist AGAIN.
I was in a medical center...blacked out and hit a chair on the way down... 4stitches later, I was on my way.

Man wat a gruesome bunch we are! man i thought there would have been some of us who didn't get 3 inches away from death! At least i haven't lost as much blood you guys have.
The only time i lost a good amout of blood was.*thinks hard* Oh ya i climbed like 30 feet into the air and desided "I'm ganna see if i can do no hands!"
well i did it ended up felling head first, but on top a dat there was a sharp rock were were my head hit the ground! *looks around at all the people that look grossed out* I went to the hospital i was screaming so loud that the Nurse threatened not to treat me!:shake: My mom told me that my brother and sister were at my friend's house, but i asked were they were like 50 times.

When I was real little, I used to love to crawl between the steps in our house (the steps were designed so this was possible) despite my parents telling me not to, and one day my head got caught on a nail. It took a while, but eventually my dad was able to pull me out. I still have the scar on the side of my head to this day.

Ahw, guys, I just ate! All kidding aside, I was a stupid kid.
Story #1: When I was little, I stuck my finger into a car cigarette lighter and burned myself (I had previously turned it on) while my parents were ironically trying to get water from 1/2km away to cool down the car, which had overheated.
Story #2: Some time later, my mom was inside a bakery, and I stuck my finger into the cigarette lighter AGAIN. Smart eh?
Story #3: I dropped scissors on my foot (think much blood) and stayed home for a couple weeks and played SNES, which my parents promptly rented.
Story #4: On my Gr.3 school playground there were these rings which you would swing to, the same concept as monkey bars. I didn't try them because I didn't think they were safe, but a friend persuaded me to try. I did it a couple times just fine, but then got overconfident and broke my arm on the landing platform.
Story #5: I hit my head many times.
- Head-Hit #1: In one of my family's houses, we had a fireplace, unfortunately with the knob on the thermostat missing, exposing the metal. It was removed so I wouldn't play with it. I hit my head on it and required stiches.
- Head-Hit #2: Sitting down in a car and hitting my head on the seat (yes, the soft part). It was then I realised that blood does not mix well with hair.
- Head-Hit #3-300: Bumping my head standing up from tables various times.
Story #6: Yesterday in gym class, we were playing "Speedball" (a combination of indoor soccer and basketball) and I moved to defend the ball and it hit me in the eye. Incredibly, there isn't even a bruise.

Oooo! I remember another one, when I was little I was climbing up the stairs to my Grandma's room, which had no carpet, and I fell and hit my eye and it left a huge bruise. I still have a scar from it too!
Heehee, I was a crazy lil kid.

When I was about eight years old, I was swimming around at the bottom of a pool, and I started to spin around underwater. Unfortunetly I got the angle wrong and knocked a chip outta one of my teeth. It hurt.
I forgot about this...

Ahhh... My top 3.... and an honorable mention
Honorable mention: I stuck my hand in a fan. Don't do this.
#3:There was a mouse trap that had peanut butter on it I tried foolishly to get it. ><#
#2:I rode my bike onto a porch at a restaurant and I went to the side and flipped off the side of the porch, smashed my nose, and the bike fell on top of me. We have bike mishaps a lot in our family
#1: The closest to death other than surgerys..... I was watching somebody go down an ENORMOUS slide and watched them slide down and continue to slide even after they got off. I didn't want that to happen to me so I grabbed the side of the slide when I went up to slide, flipped over the edge hanging 10 feet above the ground. My friend held my feet so I didn't fall.

Have you guys seen "That Thing you Do?". Well...I was doing what that one guy (th ebassist) was doing. Frog-jumping over the little parking metters or whatever (they are posts of something). And as he jumps on one, he falls on it between the legs and then falls off and breaks his hand.
Well...I was doign that and well the same exact thing happened to me minus breaking my hand but i still fell on the little cement pole and landed were it would hurt alot
I also was playing around on a skateboard (not to horribly good or bad at it...maybe leanign to more bad) and I was olling and the skateboard knocked me in my knee and my leg and i felt down and sliced my arm up pretty bad (it was in my garage - Dr. Oz was there I think
)
I was on my dad's new motorcycle when he first go tit like a year and half ago. Well I was tupid and put my leg on the exhuat pipe. To say the least, my skin melted to the pipe and i was in extreme pain. I still have a scar on my right leg
