According to statistics, one in every eight people are southpaws, that is, they use their left hand for writing, throwing, etc. I happen to be a southpaw myself, so I was curious about how many other CAA members are left-handed too.

There are 1,820 active members, so one would expect somewhere around 225 southpaws from that number. You, however, are special enough that you count for 100 sinisters all by yourself. You're like the Jack Sparrow of lefties. So there's probably only ~125 others.

I'm left-handed and I've never ever heard the term "southpaw" before. I enjoy my genetic specialness and think it's funny how sometimes people who've known me for a very long time are like "YOU'RE LEFT HANDED? NO WAY!" Well, hurray for being able to adapt and being more creative!

I'm from the north, I can't be a southpaw. *jk*

I can be ambidextrous on occasion though, but not very often. >_>

The name southpaw get started in sports, but the Oxford English Dictionary lists a non sports citation for "south paw", meaning a punch with the left hand, as early as 1848.

I used to be a southpaw, but my Communist aunt and uncle forced me to change out of "tradition" when I was a toddler.

I swear I think that messed my brain up =(

I'm double jointed. Freaks people out when I bend my fingers so they touch the back of my hand with no effort :D

"Even guys with two left feet/Make out alright if the girl is sweet!"

White Christmas reference. Carry on.

I think everyone who says they can't dance should learn to swing. 8D

Yes! Left-handers of CAA unite! XD Although I don't really like the term southpaw... I prefer being called sinister. XD

I'm not left-handed but I do have a lot of left-handers in my family. My 3-year-old cousin who is left-handed has a habit of writing everything backwards, letters, words, and everything. Accurately, too.
