It takes forever to load CAA pages on my comp, so just tell me--what's the URL?

uh oh..this type of thread again. 0.o

I'll be nice. :) I did read your story and thought it was interesting. Maybe it's my fault that I failed to say something or give you the feedback. I haven't updated myself with your story this year coz I've been pretty busy lately. 0.o

There are many other writers whom I wished I could pay more attention to as well like Chloe and UC but I just have 24 hours and I need to make priorities. Remember, it has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of your works, OK? This I say, IF you're feeling down and don't think your work is good enough or something...

Now, if you don't feel like you're getting enough feedback to improve, why not engaged personally with some writers you admire and ask for their feedback...PM them or something? I think if you went to them personally, you'll get more and quicker feedback.

A shoutout to all CAA writers, I think you are all doing a great job...even just by making the decision to write for Jesus is an admirable commitment.

BTW, knowing how graphic oriented I am, I do keep track of your artworks though. ^^ It's still a little hard for me to get used to the blue skin  but it's definitely a great job done for someone your age. ;)

A. I am incredibly lazy.

B. Work a lot on my own stuff - feel the need to do that rather than read other aspiring writer's stories most of the time.

C. Have stuff I need to read for my bi-monthly writer's club. Required reading.

D. Sometimes, I feel more like sticking my nose in a novel than in reading amature stories. * "The Silmarillion" calls me...*

E. I started reading the first part of the "History of the World" thing and it struck me as something very inside-jokey that I wasn't getting. Maybe I need to go back to it...

F. Any story with the title "Jesus Freaks" is going to turn me off. Well, the title, anyway.

G. From posts I've read by Ruroken on non-writing topics, I've seen a lot of spelling erorrs, poor sentence structure and poor grammer. Some of the time, I'm willing to help writers with this. Most of the time (See A).

H. I even put off reading stories that I have started reading and liked or that I really want to read because of A, B, C, and D.

Most of it is A. Lazy.

Volt wrote:Well somtimes the problem is that reading a bunch of text just shoved together with no paragraphs gets boring and tiresome to the eyes...I haven't read your guy's stories. Mostly because I don't have the time or I'm just not interested...

Try to use the indent feature along with nicley placed paragraphs, try this. Indent one paragraph and leave the other unindented...that'll create a sense of change and uniqueness. It catches the eye nicley.

I'll get to them though... I go through every forum and every single post, I end up reading the ENTIRE CAA message board about once every week. So don't feal left out. Your turn is comming up.

I'd definately agree with Volt about the use of paragraphs. When you post something on a messageboard in a big clump of text it makes it less easy on the eye, and this can put people off reading it, even if the content is good.
