Yup, a company in Japan has made a reinforced plastic model of Barack Obama, to put alongside previous U.S. Presidents.


If this were Goof Off, I might be able to tell you about how this is all part of their plan to replace the leader of the free world with a plastic pod person. I might be able to tell you why they are really making these replicas. I might even be able to hint at the awful truth - that what they have in that showroom isn't really a replica, and what we've just put into power isn't really the original. If this were Goof Off, I might be able to risk suggesting these things.


But seriously, folks, check it out. It's remarkably close for something that I'm sure he never stopped to pose for. Forget all the other attractions of Japan - this is why you really want to go. You want to see the plastic Presidents.

Actually, that just scares me. It's like wax museums. I can't go to them because they just give me the heebie jeebies.

Kind of a waste of plastic... but seriously, isn't there a better use of plastic then making plastic models of people?... no matter who they are!

Like what? Making little plastic dolls for kids to play with? Putting it in food? I'd rather see it go to something harmless like this than end up in milk.
