Due to popular demand we have opened the nominating process to the general CAA public this year. So please post your nominations here, in the specified categories, of any particular Lulz that occurred here on CAA.

Rules:

All nominations must have been posted somewhere on CAA in the past year, please provide a link to the relevant thread or chat logs if possible.

You may post links to threads, quotes, pictures or clips where applicable.

Nominations will only be accepted if backed by two other members apart from the initial nominator.

The judging period from which the nominees can come is a period of one year. Specifically all Lulz must have taken place in the period between midnight 15 January 2008 to midnight 15 January 2009.

For the Best Thread nominations the thread may have originated before 15 Jan. 08 but must have had relevant Lulz posts within the judging period.

If a category does not receive at least two nominations it will be dropped from the list. Any particular member may only make one nomination per category. Any particular member may only make nominations in a maximum of 4 categories. A maximum of 10 nominations per category will be accepted, so get them in as soon as you can.

Any suggestions of additional categories can be sent via PM to GeneD.
Any query about the rules may be made in the thread or via PM to GeneD.

Nominations close on 7 February 2009.

I also second(or third?) Rachel Higuchi for the best female(or male, that's still under debate) in Lulz role. I think she deserves more recognition for her lulz contribution to us over the years. ^_^

I wasn't aware of the technical meaning either and just intended for the nominations to entail anything funny. Therefore nominations do not have to necessarily be "at someone else's expense".

Sorry for the confusion. XD

Also, this rule:

Any particular member may only make nominations in a maximum of 4 categories.

is more of a guideline really and is subject to change depending on the amount of people making nominations. It's just there as a limit if necessary.
