I've never heard of this. o.o But then, I'm pretty much totally out of the Jrock/Jpop loop at the moment, and was never really in the Kpop loop at all...XD;

WOAH, they make Japanese music? I guess that's not really surprising because lots of K artists are doing that...still, I'm so behind. I remember when they first debuted...I never really liked them that much though.

I dunno, I kind of viewed the DBSK phenomenon as sort of a ripple effect, in that they're not as popular in Korea anymore, but wildly popular in other places. Feel free to correct me on that, because I don't really follow Korean music scene anymore. ;;;;

Yea, lots of Korean bands are knowing how to speak Japanese, like BoA who now is coming to the US!^^ DBSK is actually a really popular band all over Asia, in places like: China and Taiwan. But I was surprise that nobody here is a Fan of DBSK.

But seriously now, some of their music, I have to admit, isn't half bad. And most of their clothing is really cool. There is one song I really like though. No idea what it's called.. But Henry gets a violin solo in it =3

I could be wrong, but I was always under the impression that general anime fans (i.e. the people you see here) who are located in the West and into East Asian pop culture are mostly into Jpop and Jrock because they're actually somewhat related to anime, and only Asian fans really get into pop music from the neighboring countries (particularly focused on those from their "home" country, but with some branching out).

For example, I have tons of friends into Taiwanese and Chinese singers like Fahrenheit or Jay Chou or Wang Leehom. None of these friends is not Taiwanese or Chinese. I have other friends into DBSK, and they're all Korean or Chinese.

I don't know about you, but I find a lot of the appeal in EAsian popstars in this very element (=w=)~ *isshot* OK, kidding, I'm not REALLY into super-femme idols, hahaha... honest!

That's not so surprising, because Korea has a much higher percentage of Christians than Japan. The more you know...
