*all warm and tingly* I looooove animals so much.
I actually CRIED watching the lion video! Lions are sooooo my favorite animals for a number of reasons. But this video is beyond precious to me!

On Animal Planet, I watched a special about a lion who would "steal" young gazelles (one at a time) and then treat them like a cub--washing them, watching them. They would then either eventually die because they couldn't get to their mothers to nurse or they would run away back to their mothers.
But it was amazing to me that this lioness would care for them so much instead of just simply eating them.

I love these.
I would have liked the first one even more if the hippo was able to save the impala.
