That definitely wouldn't surprise me. Especially since there are several famous savants who are blind. Something about early diseases or defects in early life can in rare cases enhance other aptitudes extraordinarily in rare cases. A famous blind savant potentially very similar to her is Tony DeBois who began to play the piano at the age of two and can now play 20 musical instruments and 8000 songs from memory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_DeBlois).

Everyone is given a gift. Hers, my dear friends, is the gift of music, and a excellently uber-advanced gift it is! That, I have to say, was beautiful.
She also has the gift of KYUTE! Give her one year and I'm willing to bet she'll take over the world with that cuteness alone.
(Wow! All of a sudden I feel much less talented after watching that. You can't touch that kid!)

Wow, that is just so amazing..

The music purist in me is not impressed by the sound of her playing, but the rest of me is extremely impressed that she can play at all, what with being blind, never having had a lesson, and being five years old! I hope there's someone out there who can help her realize her incredible potential.

Well, she's Korean. That would explain it. Asians are superhuman at just about everything.

Heh, she's cute and even though she messed up a couple times in the video I saw it's still amazing that she can even play that well at that age. She's definitely the next Ray Charles, only cuter, XDDD.

Whow... I'm just blown away. *_* That is AMAZING! Kawaii. ^_^ I think this young girl will one day be incredibly famous. And yeah, I have to admit I got rather teary eyed watching this. It has even more special meaning to me because I was born legally blind (though I do have some useful vision, Thank God). Sometimes in society those who are blind are still treated pretty badly. So seeing someone who has this kind of talent and seeing those are sucesful with various eye conditions always warms my heart a lot.
