I was wondering which side of the brain your skills and special abilities lie in? There are a couple of quizzes all over the net. Some maybe accurate and some not so accurate, but the majority of them result with the truth for me which is being right brained oriented. I always prefered to do things creative, have a job that involves being creative, I like dreams, and I also like to be intuitive. All the left brained subjects hurt my head lol XD.

Anyway here are a couple quizzes.

The Blogthings quiz says I'm 60% right-brained, and the Quizilla quiz pegs me as right-brained. However, I have always considered myself left-brained. I may, on yet another hand, have subconsciously adopted the belief in order to justify my irksome lack of aptitude for drawing.

Blogthings says I'm 55% left brain and quizilla agrees...so yeah, I guess I am pretty much a left brain person though I have always considered myself to be rather creative.

I didn't even have to take the quiz to know, but yes, I'm right brained. XD Blogthings says 80% right, 20% left, and Quizzilla just says "You're rightbrained!" for the curious. XD

I am about 50-50. Many times I can also be 40-60 or 60-40, depending on my mental condition when I'm taking the test.

I didnn't necessarily either, but it's always interesting to see what other people think I think .

Anyways, the quiz on the blogthings said I'm 85% right brained and 15% left brained lol XD.

Same thing for the second quiz I posted. Right brained.

I believe that I'm primarily right brained. Psychologically, your right brain controls the left side of your body and your left brain controls the right side... Using this there is a simple test one can use to determine which side of their brain dominates (granted I suppose there are exceptions).

Your eyes are always left socially unbiased since you were a little kid unless you have eye problems... Therefore, they provide a perfect way to determine the dominant side of the brain by determining which eye provides the dominant view that you use in everyday life.

The idea is simple enough, find a difraction patter that changes rapidly according to your position within the room. Then stand still. Look at the diffraction patter and memorize the rough outline of the image seen. Then, close your left eye, does it change? (If so then you are left eye dominant because your brain had to switch from the left eye view to the right eye view in order to keep vision). Now close your right eye, does it change? (If so then you are right eye dominant and your brain had to do the same thing to flip from the right eye vision to the left eye vision).

Because each lobe controls the opposite side of the body (the right lobe controls the left side of the body and the left lobe controls the right side of the body... eyes too) then determining which eye is dominant gives you a good idea of which side of the brain is dominant.

If the diffraction pattern changes when the left eye is closed, you are right brained.

If the diffraction patter changes when the right eye is closed, you are left brained.

I study physics... but I also have a degree in animation, compose music and play several musical instruments, write stories and enjoy speaking Japanese to a lesser or greater extent. Therefore, even though I train highly in left brained areas I do have many traits of a right brained person and in the test, closing my left eye causes the diffraction pattern to change. I am right handed, but my parents used to take things from my left hand and place them in my right hand when I was younger all the time so this test doesn't count.

I conclude that I am likely right brain dominant. (By the way, I realize that diffraction patterns aren't the easiest things to find , but try it next time you find one).

2nd Quiz - Leftbrained

In truth, my brain isn't quite normal. I learned late last year that I have an unusual mental handicap in that I use different parts of my brain compared to normal people. The upshot is that I excel in some areas that most people don't, and struggle with some areas that normal people don't.

Totally right brained, woot!

Now I never really agreed with the part "if you're right brained you're left handed".

If science and research has proved though that when you use the right brain often, you control the left parts of the body, that makes sense. However I'm right brained, but I'm also right handed and that could be that I was just somehow trained to use my right hand :/.

But I know for sure that I am right brained and there's that fact that I am right handed.

So it seems like I'm almost half and half, considering I got fairly close in that one test, but ended up being right-brained, but I'm studying computer science and pure mathematics. I found that hilarious. I guess it makes sense, since I am fairly interested in the other brained stuff, such as music and arts and other generally creative outlets. I guess I'm really well-rounded.

Apparently I am "60% Left Brained, 40% Right Brained". I thought I would have been a bit more lefty than that... ah, well. Maybe I did answer some questions incorrectly..

I'm write brained. Creative writing, art, music, creativeness are my venue. Ask me to work an algebra problem and you might as well shoot me, because I'm worth nothing when it comes to math. I hate math!

With blogthings i'm 55% right and 45% left.

Man, someone beat to it already.....Yeah, I depend almost entirely on my right brain too....I've known that for a long time now....Annoying at times, but hey, God gives each of us strengths and weakness's and he want's us to work on both.....

Yeah we all answer some questions with online quizzes incorrectly sometimes XD.

With some quizzes it's taken me at least to take the same quiz three times to get the same result over and over.

If you know the basic character traits of left-brain and right-brain people, you might as well replace every single question on the quiz with "Are you left-brained or right-brained?"

...what does that statement make me?
