CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Most of you probably have heard of the most controversial church called the Westoboro Baptist Church. After doing a lot of research, I find it very tragic that the members of this church actually use scriptures from the bible to spread hate. I'm not exagerating ;__; .

The whole situation is scary, but probably very important for us as Christians to know.

A good video I found that actually uses the scriptures of love to prove their wrong such as "Beware of false propets..." (In Luke, but can remember the number yet >___>).

Very true. I couldn't agree with you more.

Ugh... These folks are an embarrassment. It makes people think Christians all want gays to go to hell, rather than be saved, that we hate our soldiers, etc...

I watched a video on youtube about the family. the founder abused his whole family, and actually, not ALL of his children support him. many of them left (from what I remember). If you want the link to the vid PM me. It really shows the behind the scenes of the family, and it really made me just want to pray like crazy for them. It's a really well put together video.

but yeah... not nice.. I can't believe that they live in my state,, and most importantly, that they call themselves Christians. They are pretty much spitting on Christ's name and it's really hurting our witness.

but I agree with W4C that they are sinners just like the rest of us, and amazingly, God loves them too...

I'm thinking this won't go anywhere productive. I certainly don't like WBC--in fact, I'm very much against them. But at the same time, I don't see what a thread that bashes them will accomplish. That being said...
