Hi everybody. Wasn't sure where to put this, as the site has music, video games, and DVDs, so...
Has anyone here ordered from Play-Asia before? Is is safe to order from them? Are they reliable?
I ask because I saw some Japanese DS games and the new Sonic sountrack and I really want to order them if it's safe. Thanks so much for any information!

Play-asia.com is totally safe and totally legit. I've gotten a number of stuff by them. They're a very reputable and high-quality company.
If you want imported games and whatnot, play-asia.com is THE way to go.

I've only done business with them once but I have no complaints.

I personally haven't ordered from them, but many of my friends have and they swear by them. It's a great site from what I hear!

That's good to know. My bro's had his eye on this One Piece game, and I'm looking for legit Sonic music,
since my last brush with a Sonic CD was a bootleg...grrr...
But anyways, thanks so much. I appreciate it.

Just like MrSmartyPants, Mist and Termyt, I have also ordered from that website and have no complaints! Though another great site for IMPORT CDs and DVDs is yesasia.com. Whereas play-asia has more hard to find items, yesasia has more of the popular items in mass quantites
Yesasia is like the better version of Amazon in my opinion ^__^

I ordered Samurai Champloo vol. 3 off Import CDs once.
I'm not sure what Hardcastle and McCormick is, but I am pretty sure it is not Samurai Champloo.

In my last post I was just talking about yesasia.com I have never heard of ImportCDs website or whatever. I was just referring to overseas music as import cds.

Speaking of importing CD's, I'm curious to hear of any good/dependable Anime OST, Drama, and Character CD importing sites.
I've recently been looking into cdjapan.co.jp who has a really wonderful selection for newer stuff (rarer stuff comes from the magical land of Ebay) but I've never ordered from them before. PlayAsia would be wonderful if they had a bigger stock in this area, but alas, video games are their specialty.

Not a bad thing if you're looking for video games, right?
(BTW, a recent issue of Nintendo Power my brother got had some article called "Top Ten Japan-only Games that Every Nintendo Fan Should Know," and the Ouendan series was in there. Cool, huh?

I buy all my import games PS1 and up from them. I've done business with them many times. It's one of my favorite places on the web to shop.
