Hi,

I just moved to LA this year to pursue my dream of film and voice acting. I've gotten to do some small parts in film and anime so far. But that's not the point...

the point is I'd love to have some Christian anime watching friends in the LA area, so let me know!

Hey, thanks.

How far is it for you to Pasadena? I go to the anime club at Caltech sometimes. :)

Not sure, exactly. I don't like driving towards there 'cause of all the interlacing freeways.

I'm about 45 minutes from LA, but I can't quite make it out there most of the time (lack of car, insurance, and, oh yeah, license)

Maybe I'll meet you at AX, though.

Kitsune - It's okay... I actually got to do some voices for the Hellsing OVA, but I wasn't sure how CAA felt about it so I didn't mention it. I've also been an extra in 3 sci-fi films, and I'm on the list of extras for the new Star Trek movie so hopefully I'll get into that. I'm also writing/directing my own fantasy series about two college students trapped in another world with wizards and vampires and such, it is called Element Isle. It should be on the web this spring.

K-chan - well, it is up to you. I have to drive in this traffic and stuff every day ;)

Bob - hope I can go to AX this year, last time I was broke! :)

I don't live there yet, but I will someday. I'm also pursuing a career in acting and in the far future, directing and producing.

It just depends on how fast God decides to move me up. =)

Feel about it? What do you think we're going to call you some sort of sinner or something? It's awesome that you're in the Hellsing OVAs! Next time you shouldn't be so uptight about such things. XD

As long as you stay true to Christ and his teachings,Steve,I'll continue support your voice work no matter what anime you do (as long as it isn't hentai, that stuff ain't good). Anyway,Good luck Brother.

My college sits near Los Angels, but I can't recall specific distances or timing. Suffice to say, it's not a long drive.

Rest assured, there is a small but steady Hellsing fanbase on CAA. If I can ask, who did you voice?

I don't live in L.A. but if you're moving over there, you may wish to attend the monthly Gothic/Deathrock festival Release The Bats down in Long Beach. L.A. has quite a vibrant Punk and Goth scene (among other things), so you're likely to be well in your element as your ministry goes.

I think I'm most likely the closest. I live in Winnetka, roughly 10-20 minutes north of the downtown area (though I'm still in the county limits).

Wow I got a lot of replies... anyway let's see...

I was the Dai Garan guard leader in Hellsing, the guy who kills himself rather than let Alucard get him. Plus I was ... a bunch of guys that got killed. :)

The Caltech anime club meets Friday and Saturday nights.

Thanks for the goth info Ghost...

If anyone wants to hang out just send me a PM!
