Heya guys, I'm a car guy. I used to think they were boring, but once I got my first car(1981 El Camino) I've been hooked. I just love the idea of taking a project, putting a lot of time into it, and then rocketing down the street while thoroughly pwning your friend's honda Civic, then hopping out the T-Top(who needs doors) to dish out some clever line to that fair maiden you've liked, it's just.... Glorious. And though they seem pretty rare, I think it's really cool when i see a girl my age who's into cars... or whenever i will see one. Personally i think it's dumb how alot of guys(and most of the time it's then ones that don't know too much to begin with) get all arrogant and displeased when a girl knows more about cars than them. Truth be told, i think it's kinda cool. If anything i can talk to her and know more. And if you think the stereotype of one is some tomboy grease monkey with no hygiene, take a look at Ashley Force(link at bottom of message), son. Thou art pwned.

Although I am not into cars...per se... I do enjoy watching racing of all sorts. Be it, Indy Cars, Formula one, drag racing, and NASCAR (kyaa love it, I don't care if you guys don't think it's a sport, I do!) The SPEED channel is quickly rising onto my most watched channel (Right after CN and Foxnews) and I love the shows where they work on cars too! It's really interesting!
I wish I knew more about cars XD but truth be told, I am actaully a little hesitant to drive >x< I really dont like going all that fast because I like, don't want to die LOL
But yeah...cars are interesting and I love watching them GO!

Dude!! An El Camino?!? Sweet! I've always wanted one, actually. I think they're awesome-looking vehicles.
I know how to check the oil level and put gas in the car. And turn it on. And set the time on the radio (you'd be surprised how many of my friends can't). That's about it for my car knowledge, unfortunately.

*high fives* Glorious! You've got good taste. It's all good, there's still a lot i don't know myself, but i think mechanics is one of those things you learn as you go, by experience. The best place to start is watching and helping with someone who does. So keep on truckin' kiddos!

I don't really care about cars, but my dad has taken on a project of restonring a Lincoln, Continental, 1972. Its only defects is it has a dent on the trunck area, the passenger door only opens from the inside, and the window doesn't role down on the same door, and we got it for a bargain! My favorite are personally is a mustang or a corvet, and on the more realistic side I like Toyata's in general!
