I know that there are a lot of members here from the California Bay Area, and I'm wondering, who else felt that big earthquake at about 8 last night, and what were you doing at the time?

I felt it... was pretty weird, kinda like a slow jolt. Was in my room, working on a school art project and all of a sudden, things started moving.

Did they say on the news what it was on the Richter Scale?

i didn't feel the earthquake, but i DID notice it on the news. many of my relatives live in that area...

It was a 5.6 Earthquake, biggest to hit the Bay Area since 1987.

Yeah,1987 was the big one in the Bay Area.I remember seeing it on the news.
