How would you go 'bout it?

Sooo...I have known these dames for years and years. And they're not Christian. I'd like to start witnessin' to them. But I dunno how to go 'bout it. I mean, I know not to come on too strong at first, and I think 'twould be a better idea if I got closer to them as a friend first...but I'd like to just, I dunno, seem different to them 'nough so that they'll wonder why (Not that I've done bad thangs in front of them or anythin' that I can remember, lol. I really try to be careful 'bout that ^^; ) 'Nways, I have some ideas, and some thangs to invite them to, but I'd like everyone elses' ideas as well. 'Twould help alot and I'd really 'preciate any input :) Thank you s'muchly :D

. . . do you really talk like that IRL? If so, that's interesting.

Here's an idea: Ask questions about what they believe. Leave what you believe out of it for now. They probably already know what you believe anyway. If you want to get to know them, ask questions about them. That should give you plenty to work with. Don't forget to pray for God to show you opportunities and questions to ask.

Well getting to know them more wouldn't hurt and you could ask them to church and see if they were interested.

A good idea, to be sure, but definitely not enough. I would hazard a guess that Akane already is working on that one, as any Christian who actually gives a care about their faith is. However, in this distraction-filled world with an ever-decreasing value placed on reflection and deep thought indicated by society, most people just don't think "Gee, they're living a moral, caring life ~ I should ask them about their life philosophy!". As much as I'd like to think that would be enough, it too often isn't. Perhaps you have more than three monosyllabic words to offer?

As Raiden said you should be doing more than that. Living the faith is one of the most important things but it usually doesn't bring them to conversion. Try asking them what they believe than ask them to think out why they believe it. Also one of the biggest things is don't be afraid to talk about your faith and explain why you believe it and ask them to just think about it and study up on it.

Some good points here. I believe too, that if you really want to minister to these gals, God will open up the perfect oppurtunity to minister and reach out to them. It may not be right away, but living what God calls you to be is being a great example. Sure, asking them questions would be great! But I think if you really try and pray and see when and where God wants you to reach out to them, he'll open up the door.
Read the Apistles. The letters to the church that Paul wrote like 1 Corinthians, Galations, Ephesians, etc. They really can teach us good ways to just live daily life the way God wants us to. I know I've been really encouraged by them. It just really teaches me how to be a good example on a daily basis.

Anyway, hope I helped. I kinda rambled...>.> I will be praying that you'll be able to reach out to them!

Just live your life as an example of Christ. alot of times that's all it takes for someone to ask about your faith.

speaking from my own personal experience, it happens often enough that the difference between those who follow Christ and those who don't is made evident when we both speak what we believe and live out what we believe, i know that this has already been said, but believe me, it's not as easy as it sounds and on top of that, your actions will speak 10 times louder than any words that come from your mouth because your actions will show them that your relationship with God is real and not just you trying to get them to join your club, develop a friendship with them as you do this and you will have much credibility with them if/when the time should come for you to share your faith with them. also never neglect prayer for these folks, asking God to prepare their hearts for the truth when it is presented to them.
