It's a cute little leopard, because I love plushie likenesses of big cats. Has anybody else heard of these? When I got it, I didn't think it was a big deal, but I noticed older people buying these things (one lady told me "they're the greatest things ever"). It's like a combination of Beanie Babies and Neopets.. when you buy one, you get a little code inside and you log it into the website and you can play with it, move it around, feed it, dress it up, and decorate it's room. Of course I know it's intended for little kids, but I wanted to know if anyone else had one. Or have they already been around and I'm just now noticing? Oo;

I have heard about it... they were advertising them on the radio! I might look into them... doubt I will buy one though!

Personally, I think it's stupid :/ It's like having to buy a stuffed animal to go online to play Neopets and stuff :/ People at work always ask if we have them but it's like... I dunno, just dumb sounding, personally^^ Heck, I'd only get one cause I love cute stuffed animals^^ Code would go in the garbage. It's not an original idea either, really. I mean, let's count the countless in the genre of 'taking care of a pet' through PC, other video games, and digital devices, they're all the same...

Is this a new fad or something?

I actually didn't know these were for the internet (though the "web" should have been a give-away) until I brought it home. I played around on the site for a bit, though... almost makes me wish I could be a little kid again x3 The idea is cute
And I thought it was a new fad, but it doesn't look like it's that big

XD, my local news station did a story about webkins that went along the lines of "Be careful, parents! Your kids may become obsessed! How much is too much?"
I guess it is a new fad, but I've heard almost nothing about it.

My stepsister has 40 of the things.
Nope, that's not a typo. *sighs*

It sounds...interesting. For lack of a better word. XD But I myself prefer to collect authentic plushies, dolls, or figurines that don't have an inexpensive feel added on to them.

I'm kinda stuck between the first and last choices on that poll, lol. Actually, I chose the first.

Cool :3 Do you use them online or just have them around?
