Sony's having a design contest for their upcoming action RPG, Folklore. If your design is picked, it will be put in the game.

I've been playing the demo and I am absolutely in love with this game. The basic premise is you're in the "netherworld" and you make your way through by gaining abilities from the monsters you fight and take their... Well, I think they're called "IDs" but they're basically souls. In any case, there are two seperate stories, one for a girl named Ellen who's looking for her mother, and one for a man named John len... I mean Keats (sorry, it was a big joke with people who watched me play it that the guy looked like John Lennon... I thought more Otacon (MGS) or Father Vincent (SH3), but...) It's all based on Irish Mythology.

This would be a great contest for all our artists

Barely got any attention from this one... Don't want it to slip into the cracks. This is a good opportunity for some of our members.

Understanding what getting one of your designs in a game could do for you, it could actually open a door into the industry.

Maybe they'll even pay attention to those who don't make first place. I think it's worth pursuing.

Perhaps, even... Well, I can't keep this going. I have no creativity ATM...

Maybe a lot of CAA artists do not normally visit Gamers Galore.... Is there a place on CAA where more artists frequently visit?

Of course, a lot of our artists are young, and they might not have put much thought in utilizing their skills in a career path....

They probably should though. Establishing a resume and recognized portfolio early is crucial if one wants to actually do some type of art as a profession.
