Mine has been busy and caotic. I can't wait for the new school year to start. I got some really cool curriculum this year!

Uneventful until band practices started. Now I spend five hours a day at my high school marching in like 95 degree weather. Still a pretty good break, though. <3

It's been amazing, especially CIY; where I confessed my sin to my youth group. And rededicated my life. And now I'm free and on Day 27 of my new life!! <3

I actually wish I lived closer to my dad's house, so I could hang with PCC more often...I made some awesome friends and accountability partners. It's hard to be away from them, isolated. It feels isolating just IMing with them or chatting on the phone, I NEED to talk with them face-to-face; just like at Christ in Youth.

Actually, if I could just live life at CIY, I'd be happy. Neverending fun. Lessons on the Bible all day, Celebration aka CONCERT WORSHIP at night, serious Biblical discussions...some rather nonserious ones as well...ahh, that would be the life. I would live it. Maybe heaven'll be that way? THAT'D BE ROCKIN'

Ahh, for once I actually must say I'm not looking forward to school. There are so many gray areas in my schedule: may not get Anatomy because my Biology grade was a bit low (B-) and I'll be screwed, because then I'll get dinky Science classes, Physical Science and Astrology, because my math level is currently too low to get into anything else (I need a math level above Alg. 1 to go into ChemCom, and I'm going into Algebra One this year), Choir might have been booted over the summer and I didn't hae an alternative (they're getting rid of Fine Arts programs, or trying to, at my school) might not get into Government because I'm "only a Junior" (I'm taking the Special Education course of it, because each year I need a LRC class because I'm disabled. MY DISABILITY IS PHYSICAL; HAVING NOTHING TO DO WITH MY LEARNING! So hopefully, it'll be easier to get in to, and it'll leave my Senior schedule more open...but if it's not, I'm screwed, because I didn't have an alt. here, either)
So just...please pray for me over these issues...

I don't mean to be cryptic or mysterious, but tomorrow, the day after that, and the day after that will by my answer for this summer either being one of the very best or one the very worst.

In all honesty though, it's been one of the worst so far. I didn't finish school until June 20th, so I lost 1/3 of it. I've gone through many heartaches from loosing my last real life friend (whom I already was loosing), to conflicts with my family both immediate and distant.

But I won't be too distressed even if this summer turns terrible. I've learned to pick up the pieces, and continue going with even a little hope.

Yeh, hope you feel better Alexander--here's a hug ^^

Well, my summer's been an emotional ride for me. Some days have been strangely depressing and there were others when I was like "Why am I so happy?" Yeh....oh, and some days were just plain weird and funny

Mine's been okay. I had fun, like when my sister came to visit for a week, but it was generally stressful.

Well to be truthful my summer flew by too fast that I didn't know what to do with. I mostly worked at my dads store. Went to the beach, my nana's house, and did some other things. Yep went by too fast. Oh yeah I came to CAA every time I got the chance. This place rocks! Im not all to ready to go back to school considering I'll have to deal with algebra(Again), chemistry, and AP English. But this year I want to become a member of our Bible Quiz team! Im on the honor soceity so Im going to have to work hard this year. Oh joy!*Says Sacastically in case you didn't catch on*

I went to China for two months and lived with a Chinese family and went to Chinese school and ate Chinese food! Wow! Yes, and in the midst of it all, the Lord put me through an intense trial in which a false idol was ripped from my life(a fantasy/anime story I had been writing for a year). I'm glad I went through it though; but of all the places and of all the times. Other than that, China was great. The laughs, the insanity, the Chinglish signs. . .good times. The six of us Americans that went have a special bond now.

I'm starting Driver's Ed. on Monday. I've had my permit for ten months and I only have 15 hours. Looks like I'll be riding the bus for the first part of my senior year**shudder** Oh well.

But yeah, I'm pretty excited for this year ^_^

In a nutshell, boring, interewsting, exciting, scary, sad, frustrating, kind of like life tends to be, but without tests to study for, until recently at least. Oh, and I really should catch up with a couple people from spring.

OFF TOPIC-Tell me ChurchPunk, where can you acquire this said pocky. I had bought and consummed some pocky from my local anime con in May, and it was good! So now the problem is I liked it, but no store near me sells the stuff. Do you have any suggestions on where to go to find some?

I'd say your best bet would be to find a huge super market that has an international section. The one I went to had a whole aisle just for Asian stuff. (^_^)

Indeed I did ^_^ It was an amazing experience. I lived in Xi'an; it's famous for the Terracotta Warriors. I went to school every day with my host girl(who's adorably cute in every way ^.^) and I got to wear a school uniform. And it was just like the ones that anime school girls wear, except the bottom was a pair of pants. My anime-loving friend and I basically spazzed when we got 'em, XD.

So after living like a regular Chinese person in Xi'an for almost two months, we went to Beijing to see all the touristy stuff(including pandas) and we got the tourist treatment with the food and the restaurants we went to. It was rather annoying, not to mention the fact that there are so many tourists in Beijing. I was like "Am I back in America?" At least when we went to the Great Wall the part we walked on had hardly anybody on it.

When we first arrived in China, we were sitting there waiting for our luggage and only one suitcase showed up. The rest of it was missing! Luckily, after a fourteen hour flight we were all a bit slap happy(I thought the whole thing was hilarious) and after telling the baggage claim people what happened we took a bus to a hotel. My friend and I sat in our room and watched T.V. The first Pirates movie was on and it was all in Chinese.

Ah, so many interesting and hilarious stories. If you ever get a chance to travel abroad for an extended period of time, do it.

My summer went by so quickly I find myself sitting here now saying "What summer? Where did it go? Its over already!?" Now I move into my dorm this coming Saturday and start college life the following Wednesday! I can't believe its here so soon. I"m so excited and nervous at the same time.

But my summer was great, despite the fact that it was so short lived. I went to the beach at the beginning, attended a really, really good Bible conference in June (got to see some friends from previous years), and worked two jobs to get money for college.... so yeah, it was a pretty full Summer. Maybe that's why It went by so quickly?
