Minneapolis Bridge collapse

Well I searched for another topic on this subject (I used the search box and looked in the general and prayer room forums... ) But I couldn't find one so I thought I would start one.

Now I considered putting this in the prayer room but decided to put it in general because it seemed more appropriate, still this is something I think we should all keep in our prayers!

Some of you might not know (I don't know how national the story is) But a bridge collapsed in Minneapolis MN. Their are 5 confirmed deaths and 8 missing. (this is the latest I heard anyways)

They still don't know why the bridge collapsed but they are doing research so they can hopefully prevent a similar disaster from occuring.

I am so grateful to be alive right now. I crossed the exact same bridge going to Warped Tour on Sunday. I never imagined it would collapse a few days later.

Has anyone else heard anything on the story or been on that bridge recently? had any sobering experiences lately?

Also I again I recommend we all keep the family's of the victims and the research team in our prayers.

One of my classmates and best friends has a lot of family in the Minneapolis area, and was worried all day until her cousin finally was able to call, thankfully, her family was all safe. One of my dormmates is from the area as well; hope her family's safe as well, I haven't been able to talk to her yet.

I've been thinking about it alot lately, I was supposed to head that way a few days from when that happened, but we put off that trip because of the accident. I think so to that we sould all keep the families and victoms in our prayers. I also have family that way, so I'm praying that they are okay, as well as the rest of the families and victoms

Fortunately they keep finding people who were listed as missing as alive and well.I think the death toll currently is only 5 but again it could have been much worse and there are still people missing that they don't know what happened.
P.S. It was officially given as 25,000 people at the Twins game,so again it was a good thing that the game was continued because of the amount of traffic that it would have caused if they had sent everyone home.
