All righty; I got the go-ahead from Ashley (thank you!!) to try a monthly caption contest on here. Now, I'm not exactly sure what the monthly winners of the other contests receive as prizes, but since I can't really do anything spectacular, you can put 'Winner of (insert month and year) Caption Contest' in your sig if you want. Basically, the caption contest goes like this:
I post a pic, you think of a good caption for the pic, and you PM me with your entry. Only one entry allowed per pic, and please keep it clean. It is from there that I select the funniest, along with a few honorable mentions...and my original caption just to spice things up. The deadline is the beginning of the last week of the month ^^
(And if any mod finds this thread so worthy, would they please move it to its proper place in the contests forum? That is, if it gets off the ground and becomes a regular thing...)

Update: Somehow, I get the feeling that the CAA already has too many contests, or people who aren't interested in contests. But oh well, we'll see how this one goes. So far, though, there are no entries.

Still got a few days left for this, and so far, only one entry.
Okay, looks like this is only a one-time thing...I'm still going to wait until the deadline is up to post the caption, but I highly doubt this will continue. What I would like to see is someone getting pics from anime and using those for a caption contest...that'd be great!
