I've had the same avy...um....since I joined, I think. Should I change it?

Well if your getting tired of it then change it, but only if you can deal with the concept of change. Maybe you should wait until you hit 1000 posts to change it, you know that might make it all the more special. The once every 1000 posts of the changing of the avatars. Also who is that in your avatar? Yeah I think I have the right to this question considering you asked me mine earlier. (If that sentence came out rudely Im terribly sorry. I didn't mean it that way. Please will you forgive me!)

Mine hasn't changed but for christmas. When it gains a santa hat.

It looks like its one of the characters from Kenshin. Can't ever spell the first name right.

To Change or Not to Change?

The eternal avatar question. Wheather 'tis nobler to stay with what is known or have the courage to change one's avatar. Thus wrestles the debate within, the answer 'tis yet unknown.

Perchance, the young maid which to don anew. There be many a gallant friend which would wish to help you find what you seek. Yet, these same shall think no less should you choose to stay as you wish.

To end this ponderance with humble advice. Seek not to "do as thou wilt", but Do as Thou Feels is Right.

Lots of people change, but lots don't, either. How much do you think it matters?

Personally, it threw me when I first joined and people changed their avatars a lot (I've very visual and find it easier to associate people with their faces, or, in this case, their avatars) so I've never changed mine. This is the one I joined with. But plenty of people do, and I don't mind that either.

I guess I'll change it once I reach 1000. And because it is true that avatars help you remember who people are...maybe I'll put my old one in my siggy when I change.

Oh and I believe her name is Misao, and yep she is from Ruroni Kenshin.

I agree with the fact that you learn to recognize peoepl by their avvys. I've forgotten I knew a couple people when they changed there's before, lol.

And yes, it's Misao from Rurouni Kenshin. Strogn admirer/follower of Aoshi, ninja, and a pretty good fighter as I recall. Although, her devotion to Aoshi almost got her atacked by Yahiko at one point. For any Street Fighter fans, I'd say Misao is to Aoshi as Sakura is to Ryu, since alot of the time Aoshi tends to shun Misao and push her away as Ryu does to Sakura.

I'd say keep it, but it's up to you. I change mine every few months or so, I think, but I don't even remember what it is half the time because I've got so many different ones on differetn forums.

I remember when Savannah and I both had really similar avatars (they were avatars of Rolf. It was an amazing time.). People got our posts mixed up sooo often. XDD But yeah, I say change it if you're wanting something new. If not, though, keep it. It's a nice-looking avatar.

I might change it but keep it the same character, to help people 'recognize' me.

Mine changes like every month, but I'm not good at making up my mind. Keep it! Set an example for me!!!^^ Or just do whatever you want.
