I need any geek help I can get. I am computer stupid about it, but my Creative Zen Mp3 player has stopped working. I've tryed to reset it and charge it but it's not functioning to any comands from the buttons. After I reset it I'll turn it on and let it rebuild the library and come on and then it pauses it's self and does nothing.
It's a little Creative Zen one GB. I haven't dropped it hard or smushed it. It was in fact working fine the day before. I've only had it for one year so any help would be nice.

Is it on at all? If it is, just let it run out of power, then plug it in. If it's not doing anything at all, it might be sunk--my Zen Vision: M died after nearly a year (or at least I think it died, I just bought a different player because I didn't want to wrestle with the thing every time I wanted to play something).

I might be a bit late, but I think the people here can help. They were pretty helpful when I was having a charger and firmware issue with my Zen Vision: M. They're very helpful.

I'm not sure if I can help exactly, but I will say that when I try to put new songs on my Creative Zen Nano Plus (one of those small 1 GB types like the one you mentioned, I think), I just do drag-n-drop into the folder. It seems to work better than having the player build the lists on its own. Well, it does for me anyways.
Also, after what you said, I'm starting to worry about mine; I'm coming up on the year point as well...next month, actually.
