So tomorrow I head back to the USA. I've been in England for 5 months, since January. I went on a DTS (discipleship training school). it's part of YWAM (youth with a mission). YWAM bases are located all around the world.

This has probably been the single most amazing thing i've ever done. 5 months of learning about God. Seriously, this has been the best experience of my life so far. I love it here, England is beautiful.

I'm so sad about going home though, I miss everyone here. Everyone is going home... and its so upsetting because most of them live in Canada or England. And most of them live on the opposite side of North America. ;-;

But anyway, I've learned so much, I've been humbled so much, I've just... been worked in so much... and man, it's wonderful. XP

I really don't ... remember the point of this thread, hahahaha, but i guess if you guys have any questions, feel free to ask. :3

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, on the span of my DTS, I realized God has really called me Japan, specifically Osaka. So I've contacted a YWAM base in Osaka, and I've been waiting for their reply. I'm quite excited. XD God wants me to staff a DTS there. *nervous*

lol, but yeah. I'll keep you guys updated! If you have any questions, just ask awayyyyyyyyyyy!

XD Yeah, it must feel awkward to go home. Back to your regular life. I know that feeling XD

Anyway, I'm glad you had a wonderful time!

I did a Summer program in 2000, a DTS in 2001, another summer program in 2001, an SMPD (secondary school) in 2002, and was on staff from 2004-2005 in Chico... Through YWAM, I've been to Sacramento, San Francisco, Mexico, Australia, and Fiji. My favorite place has got to be Fiji, but I also fell in love with San Francisco while I was there

DTS was an incredible experience, but upkeep is your responsibility. I didn't quite keep it up...

As for the Osaka base, I was under the impression that the leader of that base... How should I put this? Are you Japanese, or at least Korean? One of the Japanese base leaders, I thought it was Osaka, wants a Japanese and Korean only staff... She said her mission is to the asian world only. Maybe I got the base wrong, though. Good luck, anyhow.

As for leading a DTS... Well, let me say, just be careful. You're fresh out of DTS, and the students (let's say as much half of them) are going to be looking to you like their parents, and you may even be younger than some of them... You may want to look into a leadership school, first, though unfortunately those tend to be by invitation only... Of course, I believe the Greater Tokyo Area base has one, and it may be just be by application. You may want to consider that, because leading a DTS is a huge responsibility...

wowww i never knew that you did all that! :O I'm sure fiji was amazinggg...

Oh... I never knew that.I'm not Japanese or Korean or anything.I think though, that there was two Osaka bases, I'm not sure though. But yeah.. hm... :/

hahaha it's funny you say that. I ... never thought I could staff. really. lol. I would be like.. are you kidding me? I'm 18. I could never staff!

But at one point on my outreach, God said to me, "I want you to staff, cause you will have to rely souly and completely on me."
At first I really questioned if it was from him or not, but it was just so... out of the ordinary. You know? not one of my normal thoughts. And it was phrased like that.

But I dunno. I'm still flexible on it. Whatever God wants me to do, I'll do. All I know is that I'm called to Osaka, Japan for sure. ^.^;;
and that's it. haha
