Going to Celebrate Freedom

Postby SolidÃ…rmor » Fri Jun 22, 2007 10:23 pm

Just wanted to know if anyone else in TX will be going to Celebrate Freedom? I know, myself and the wife are going on Saturday...I'm trying to see if my sister and her husband are going as well? If you are going who are you most looking forward to seeing?

Myself...I'm a Bebo Norman fan, the wife likes Toby Mac. But, all the artists are great just wish Steven Curtis Chapman was at this one.

For those of us who don't live in Texas could you explain what Celebrate Freedom is?

It's just the largest free christian concert (sponsored by 94.9 KLTY) slated for the Fouth of July weekend. Usually it's only a 1 day event but this year it will be 2 days, Friday Jun 29th and Saturday Jun 30th. Held at Southfork Ranch (where the series Dallas was filmed at) Over 100 thousand christians coming together to celebrate this country and the grace of God's sacifice that allows us to be there.

There are going to be a lot of really good artists there this year. Hope those who can come take the chance to do so.
