Are most of your friends of the same gender as you?
I was talking to J-Bot tonight and realized that most of mine aren't.
So, how about you? Do you share a gender with the majority of your friends?

Most of mine are female.

I guess it depends on the group of friends you're talking about. XD
For instance, almost all the friends I have offline are girls. I have two guy friends offline, and I haven't seen either of them in a while. But if you're talking about the group of friends that I have online, most of them are guys. A handful of them are girls, but most of my online friends are guys. XD Weird.

Offline I've always worked better with girls then boys. Although truthfully I'm just trying to find a friend in the offline world. If I'll ever find anyone...
As for the online world. I'm about equal with boys and girls.

I'm a fairly talkative and open person. Most of my friends are girls, although I do have some very good friends who are guys. I'm comfortable in my masculinity.
Funny thing is that before going to university I had trouble making friends in general (but especially with girls).
And I'm still single. (lol)

Ever since I was a mere babe all of my best friends have been female. And I am not making that up either as my first friends were my sisters.

I have more male friends. I'm not quite sure of the reason, though. I would venture to guess that it is a result of the fact that most of my interests have a high male to female participation ratio.

I have more female friends because the activities I do are dominated by girls! My church, the few classes I take (I'm homeschooled), my youth group etc.

I've always gotten along with guys a lot better than others of my gender.

When I was younger, most of my 'friends' were of the male persuasion. Now that I am older, the gender ratio is a bit more balanced. Although, I really have been taking inventory on those who I consider my 'friends'.

Personally, I am about equal when it comes to male/female friend relationships. I can sway to understand either one based on history and personal experience.

My two best friends are girls...but I have a few 'close' guyfriends...
Why are all of my non-church male friends perverts? Whaaaa....

I don't try to think of a reason why I tend to have more female than male friends.
I just accept it as the way it is.Though mostly I think it is that girls are generally easier to get along with than guys.

I get along with guys better, most of the time they're just nicer.

I have significantly more female friends than male friends. I think it's because I relate to them easier than most guys I'm around. Don't know why though.

I'm good friends with some girls, too, but a majority of my friends are guys.

I assumed we meant IRL friends, so I said "yes." I suppose my answer might change if that wasn't the survey's implications.

Great to catch up with you too, W4J! Phew... I've been crazy with University and I'm driving quite a few hours to Wellington on Tuesday to spend the week there. Its been great, but I'm glad for a respite these holidays to catch up with things here. I love this place and the people here. Thanks for asking. ^^
Oh, ok - offline friends.
I'm going to strongly generalise things from my own experience but both my relationships with guy friends and girl friends have some subtle differences but are still enjoyable. I tend to sit and talk more with the latter, while when I'm with the former we usually go somewhere, for example. Just thought I'd note it.
Not that this is always the case, but just often. There are differences between my realtionships with friends of the same and opposite gender and its actually nice to have the variety.

I used to just have friends that were girls...then I got to know more guys at my church, so I'd say it's a nice even mix between the two....
