We used to tease my sister Cathryn that 'Bud' on Flipper was her twin.
Seriously though,I do have two cousins that are twins and when we lived in Idaho
there was a family that went to our church that also had twin daugthers but I don't have a twin myself,at least not in this reality.

We ALL have twins.
look at Gilinder's version of the world, exactly the same, everyone here that would be there.
Ergo we have twins.
basically, alternate dimensions=twins.

Well...maybe they could be clones, after all Alternate deminsions are basically clones of this one, but arnt Clones still twins seeing how they look exactly like us?

Actually yes, identical twins are essentially clones.
So all those things in sci-fi novels and comic books and films about clones? Not a big deal. We have them already. {g}
My brother married a twin (non-identical). And I myself am a surviving twin; my mother having lost my twin by miscarriage early in her pregnancy. (Probably not identical, since then we would _probably_ be sharing the same placenta or whatever. It's kind of fun to think I might be a clone, however... {g!})

Identical twins have identical DNA but differing environmental influences throughout their lives affect which genes are switched on or off. This is called epigenetic modification. Fictional clones don't have epigenetic modification.
