Dining, for me is an event. Most days, I eat because I need to, but a dining experience, to me, is something to be savored. I enjoy the experience of eating good food and I look forward to eating a good diner. Different foods go well together, so allow me to include some good menus as opposed to just some good food.
Fillet Mignon with twice baked potatoes, asparagus and nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Garden salad with lots of leafy greens and a vinaigrette dressing is a good way to start this dinner. For desert, something chocolaty. You would not believe how good chocolate tastes when mixed with a nice cab.
Veal Milanese served over mashed potatoes with green beans. I like a Caesar salad before this type of dish, but wedding soup works, too. Sauvignon Blanc is a nice accent to the lemony flavor of the veal and the meal is ended perfectly with a white chocolate blondie.
Beef Ribeye Roast – this is an entire roast made up of the meat used to make ribeye stakes, encrusted with a salt, pepper and oil rub and baked. Fantastic. Garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli match perfectly and so does a nice Pinot Noir. Stuffed artichoke hearts makes a great appetizer and for desert, chocolate cake.
Now, that gets my mouth watering.

Could be. Perhaps just a listing of my favorite foods, then?
Here we go:
Twice baked potatoes and ice cream and Soba;
Pot sticking dumplings (whether mandoo or gyoza);
Brownies and blondies topped with frostings;
These are a few of my favorite things.
General’s Chicken and crisp apple strudels;
Chocolate and Carmel and hamloaf with noodles;
Philadelphia cheesesteak and buffalo wings;
These are a few of my favorite things.
Lasagna, Ramune, fried rice, and bulgogi;
Artichoke hearts, asparagus and broccoli;
Peppermint candies and squid fried into rings;
These are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

That made my day, man.
I'm gonna go categorically. This is so insanely broad, it will help my mind from condensing itself to ruin.
Appetizers:
- A great Mango Salsa and tortilla chips - mmmmmmmmm.......
- Caprese Salad - Basil, Tomato, Fresh Mozarella and a stream of Balsamic Vinaigrette - doesn't get much better. Simple, light, cool. Oh yeah.
- Pita and Hummus.
Vegetables:
- Sauteed Zucchini and Yellow Squash with Onions - absolutely brilliant!
- Asparagus, any way.
- Green Beans - preferably steamed.
- Romaine Lettuce - Sometimes you need something that isn't packed with flavor to offset the strong accents. This is perfect for salads.
- Fresh Tomatoes - there is such a huge difference between fresh and typical grocery fare. If you've tasted, you know exactly what I mean.
- Tomatilloes - Spanish cooking gone to heaven.
Fruits:
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Cantaloupe
- Pears
- Peaches
- Strawberries

Hmm...where to start?
Foods:
Sushi (a good variety of; our supermarket carries some of the best sushi I've ever had,
)
Sashimi (I looooove salmon and tuna; shrimp's not so bad either)
Tempura (!!!!!!! What's not to like?)
Ramen (but I've only had the instant type)
Greek salad
Chicken caesar salad
Teriyaki chicken
Fajitas (beef or chicken)
Tacos (beef)
Gyoza
Tofu miso soup (who knew seaweed and little white cubes could be so good?)
Subs (especially my Subway usual...)
And there's probably a lot more, but I can't think of it right now...
Drinks:
Root beer
Asia Plum Arizona Green Tea
Decaf coffee
Melon Ramune (for some reason, I enjoy the melon one more...)
Pepsi
Fruit punch
Lemonade
Milk (2%)
Desserts/Junk:
Chocolate Hungarian Rum Torte (extremely good, but super-heavy in calories...)
Chocolate Pocky
Flower's Kiss
Sour belts (like Airheads Extremes)
Shocktarts
Nerds
Melon hard candy
Lindt truffles (with the blue wrapper, which is dark chocolate and milk chocolate)
Chocolate cake (yeah, I'm a chocoholic)
And there's probably a lot more on this whole list that I'm missing.
