Well, I have only been to one...
I guess watching all the poor cosplayers get glomped by screaming fan girls was pretty entertaining. XD

Me, too!

I'd say it was... helping my friend run his booth.

Chill with friends, laughing at the ultra-obsessed fanboys.

I'm pretty much in agreement there. Also, being in the Silent Hill cosplay photoshoot last year was the absolute highlight of the weekend. And this year is gonna be even better, especially with the SH discussion panel [evil laugh...]

Do reaaaallly reaaallly cracked out things while in costume. Being one of Anime LA's screaming, dancing Noahs was a blast, and I definitely have similar plans for ACen and AX. 8)

Lessee... The past several times I've been to an anime convention I ran a free face painting booth. That's all kinds of fun. Also, being recognized while cosplaying as a reletively obscure character is fun (and gratifying)

Once I was also taped to a real life Katamari ball and rolled across the hotel lobby. That was pretty memorable too (though it's sort of a once in a lifetime thing, I guess)

This picture was taken at the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention in 2005. It was quite the, erm, experience. The rest of the pictures can be seen here.

Favorite things to do at a con ... well ... I'd like to simply try attending one for starters.

Go ahead. AX is coming up, and I'm sure that the CAAers who attend would be happy to meet their favourite frozen reviews wench, even if you are the winner by default.

If you can't do that, there ought to be a smaller con somewhere closer.

Lets see Cosplay, watch AMVs, attend the cosplay, dealers room, check out new or anime I have not seen and attend any special events. OH I also take pictures.
Neko Con I work as part of medical and security (AMS) Attendee Management Services and dress as a Japanese Firefighter or Medical provider.

Oh man, I left out the BEST parts for me:

1. Keeping a Journal. It's sort of an obsessive-compulsive thing, I guess, but I always keep a very detailed record of all the stuff that happens to me. Few people other than myself ever get around to reading them, but I enjoy it and it's fun to read over them later.

2. Discovering new things! Every time I go to a con I come away with some new anime or manga or Jrock band or SOMETHING that I hadn't been into before. Broadening horizons!
