I personally do. Especially military history. I just love studying World War I and World War II.
One of my favorite shows these days is "Battlefield" because I love how they break it down section by section, and I love reading books on history too, like "The Crusades".
Who else likes history?

I enjoy history too, both military history and, erm, film history.
That said, although I know a lot, I'd hardly call myself a part-time historian.

History is a pretty broad topic. I enjoy reseraching events like the Russian Revolution and the eras of Ancient Egypt and the Medieval Times.
Japanese history is also pretty interesting.

I'm not fond of Tests on History, however I do find the events themselves fascinating. This is probably because I am horrible with dates and names.

History major representing. Political and military history of Europe and the modern world, and some rising interest in the Middle East and Japan.
Few things please me more than historical accuracy in films, games, Anime (Samurai Champloo is allowed some leniency), etc.

World History, Ancient Civilizations is my forte, along with Family History (Genealogy). I can (and have) studied other forms of history, including Art History and Modern History, but I'm not as keen on them.

I'm definately a history buff, although my interests are fairly broad.

I like history, and know only enough to know that there are very, very large gaps in my knowledge of history...

I love history!! I normally enjoy learning American, and most recently, Japanese history (I blame Rurouni Kenshin.... >.>). Probably my favorite thing to study the Civil War and have read almost anything I can get my hands on about it. (Man, I must seem morbid or something....) I'm also thinking about becoming a history major, but I'm not sure whether I want to do that or become a meteorologist (sp?). Decisions, decisions.....

I enjoy learning more about history, especially Biblical history and real American history that remembers our roots of faith. Learning about the events and societies of the Old and New Testaments always brings out more of the Scriptures.

I enjoy learning about history, and I've enjoyed most of my history classes (the ones I didn't enjoy were due to the teacher XD). I'm pretty bad with remembering dates, but I find the events to be very interesting. It's not like I'm going off to be a history major in college, but I do enjoy it. XD

History was my favorite subject in school.I like reading biogrpahies, autobiographies, genealogy, etc.all of which deal with history on a more personal level. You really can't understand for example why MacArthur was the way he was until you read up on his background. It helps to know
WHY people were the way they were in order to know why they did WHAT
they did.
As far as it goes and for personal reasons I especially enjoy reading up on the Civil War(American).

I am horrible at dates but I love reading history especially ancient European history like the Romans and the Celts and Hannibal. I also love later European history with the war of the roses and divvying up Italy and all that jazz. My favorite trivial pursuit category is history

I enjoy history, can't say that I have a great deal of time to study it, but I have at least had some opportunities from my liberal arts program in physics. Of course, I would prefer to make history rather than study it, but that is purely something of my intentions...

I too enjoy history. Mostly things dealing with art and culture, but I prefer the time period before the Middle Ages with ancient Greece and Egypt. But I also love the Black Death, and the Renaissance.

I'm interested in history but haven't actually studied any for some time.
I especially like English history, medieval times, and like Phantom_Sorano said, the Black Death. It's like a whole different world, and has the advantage of being true. (It seems to me that a lot of people from the past would have been impossible to make up.)

I also love history. I'm interested in Old Testament Middle Eastern history, but I'm most interested in American history and recent (past 200 years) European history.

I love to discuss history. Most of my trival knowledge is spent in WWII and the US Civil War and I wouldn't consider myself an expert in anything, but it is fascinating to study.

I like WWII and Japanese history in general. But the deeper you get into studying the Holocaust, the sadder it gets. That's why I don't think I could be a SS teacher. ^_^

Wow, I can't tell you how happy I am to find how much people love history. I've been worried our generations will keep making the same mistakes over and over cause no one seems to know their history.
MAYBE if there are more people like us who know history, we won't repeat those mistakes (God willing).
I've studied World War II to the point that I enjoy studying World War I alot more now. There's so little discussed about the First World War these days that it truly intrigues me.
I also love the history of the United States, but I've studied our nation to the point that I'm satisfied with what I know.
Currently, I have a book on ancient Japan up to the Meiji era. It's very interesting, though I have yet to finish it.
I also love studying famous Military Generals like Patton, MacArthur (he was in command of the Philippine's when my Grandpa was stationed there. My Grandpa was a POW and MacArthur's promise to return meant alot to him), Sherman (Civil War), Robert E. Lee (Civil War), Georgi Zhukov, Napoleon, Duke of Wellington, Rommell, Pershing, Sir Douglas Haig (very controversial WWI commander of the British forces. Many hated him apparently), Hugh Dowding, Montgomery (though I think his only claim to fame should be El Alamein. Seems as though apart from that and the landings in Normandy, he wasn't good for much else), and Schwarzkopf.

I was never that interested in WWI (thought it was just a land war) till I began to learn about the circumstances surrounding it, after which it grew on me.
Not that much into American history, but I do enjoy the odd collection of people we seem to have routinely voted into the presidency.

More a fan of classical history. Quick test, identify and complete the series: Seleucus, Ptolemy, Lysimachus, and who?

Pete Best.
I know those are Alexander's generals/successors (Ptolemy later took authority over Egypt), but that's as far as my knowledge goes.
