That depends. Why do you want one? What do your parents think? What do you expect to accomplish with a myspace site?

I'm not saying I'm for or against it, I'm just curious about your intentions.

Because..everyone else does and they're tempting me? XD
My parents wouldn't care...
Then again, I'm very lazy concerning stuff like this ~.~;

Well, I myself am too cool for MySpace.

But, seriously, if you're just doing it because everyone else is, then I say no. If you're doing it because you have friends on there or you want to meet people, then I say yes.

No. Get an LJ. It's better. ;P

: : ahem : : Get "a" LJ. ^_~

That said, MySpace is silly. Don't be a trend zombie.

Here's my question: Readership on my Xanga is dead. Should I get a LiveJournal?

XDD

Only if you pronounce "LJ" as "lidge" or "Live Journal". XD "El Jay" is totally the way to go. XD

It's all about the Facebook. Much more professional looking, much more private, and has alot more practical use.

I prefer Facebook.

MySpace is for teenagers who want to show skin to people they think are their peers but are really creepy old men with kid fetishes. I set up a MySpace account a while back at the invite of some friends who were already there, and I've found no use for it. Facebook, on the other hand, I use almost daily.

I just use mySpace to keep in contact with my local set of friends. It seems to me to be good for little else.

Joining myspace and not joining myspace is a trend. >^^< If you're worried about being a conformist, don't listen to others. Just make the decision for yourself.

Heard that Myspace is not all that safe. Predators, viruses, bugs, etc. are the risks involved in doing the Myspace thing. Go LJ.

Indeed, I enjoy LJ more than mySpace

Blah. Get both. Myspace and LJ. And Myspace is only unsafe if you are silly with your info. The same reasons Myspace is dangerous are the same reasons IM programs, Forums, or LJ are dangerous.

Personally, Tom is my enemy, so I'm not sure if I'm objective enough to make that call.

I just set one up myself. It's pretty bare-bones right now (doesn't even have any pictures), but I've got 2 friends (not counting "Tom") and a few blog entries. Acutally, I can see myself ceasing to care about it sooner or later. But for now, why did I do it? Because, why not.

Dude,

It's just like Obi-Wan said, " You will never find a more wretched hive of
scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

How do you request to be on someone's friends list?

Edit: forget it, I figured it out. Now I need to know how to set a background.

Bah. I consider it a pretty worthless site, but set one up if you like.
