learning kana

hey i was just wondering if anyone wanted to learn japanese. well if you do i found this really great site and wanted to throw it your way i learned all of kana in two days (in college and have ADD so time wasn't an issue[results may very])

Wow, I just tried it. It seems like if you put some time into it, you could learn it in no time.

But wouldn't there be issues with grammer? I'll just assume Kana doesn't use the same grammer as english, but I don't know anything about the Japanese language at all, nor Kana, so correct me if I'm wrong.

True, this wouldn't help with grammar (which is VERY different than English) but it would be a great way to learn the alphabet (which is also very different than English). Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to nail my kana and I think this will really help!

I gotta look into that sometime...I've got most of my hiragana down but I'm disappointed in myself for not learning katakana simultaneously.

The best site, in my opinion, for becoming totally fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, listening, speaking) is www.yesjapan.com. I've been using it for about two years now, and it is just as good (if not slightly better) than my college Japanese class. Go take a look *O*/.
