GAHH... I am angered at the moment...

Ok I get sick ALOT... My immune system sucks.

And it wouldn't be so bad cept for all the teachers who DONT TELL ME THE ASSIGNMENTS I missed.

Yah I come back and they won't talk to me...

A great example is this last week I missed two days due to illness... I came back and Asked my physics teacher and he said that all we did was work on a project... I asked my friend and he said we had a Test. If I hadn't asked My friend I would have missed the test and my grade would have dropped from an A to a C.

So I guess I just wanna know... does anyone else have this problem?

I can relate. Would it be possible to sometimes give your teachers an advance warning, like when you are going to the doctor's office? I have found that teachers are sometimes more responsive if you ask ahead of time.

If this continues to be a major problem, you might ask your parents to bring it up at parent-teacher conferences.

yea, wait till college. Most if not ALL of my teachers are like that. not trying to scare you from college, its worth it, but you may want to toughen up your immunity before you leave high school. when I get sick, I stock up on cough drops, liserine strips and anything else I can think of that will give me temporary relief while I am in class. I remember I hurt my back so bad that I went to the hospital. the next day I was at work half an hour after taking a Vicatin (oh yea, I KNOW I misspelled that, but I'm too lazy to look it up again). BUT DON'T TAKE ANYTHING LIKE THAT UNLESS ITS FROM YOUR DOC!!!!! oh and try eating fruits that are in season... long story.

yah... heh all my cousins in college are all " you have it SOOOO easy"

and I probably do... But I think that in high school at least teachers should be able to tell you if you have had a test O__o

Oh goodness, I can relate. I've gotten sick pretty often in the past couple of years. I have no idea why. I'm pretty robust as far as most health is concerned, but lately I just can't steer clear of annoying viruses. I find that my biggest problem is not being exempt from Trimester Exams! I don't get to be exempt if I miss more than 3 days per trimester, even with a doctor's note! T.T

Anyway, now that I've whined, here's my advice: If possible, have one of your parents go by the school on the day you are gone, and have them pick up your missed work. Or, make sure to always ask your friends that share classes with you what the assignments were while you were gone. You should probably call said friends on the same day that you are sick at home. That way, you can't get behind. Otherwise, just don't forget to ask the teachers for your missed assignments when you return to school.

Good luck!
