Not sure about me, but I know for a fact that they'd name my brother Sarah Elizabeth, since that was his name (that is, until they found out he wasn't a girl). XD

If I remember right it would have been either Hope or Patricia,Patricia because of being born on St.Patrick's Day.

That's disturbing -- My name would have been Sarah. My brother would have been Elizabeth.

Well, I was Amos until I was about ten, so I think that answers your question.

If I had been a boy, I would've been named Ryan, and if my twin brother had been a girl, he would've been named Kristen. We used to mess with people's heads and tell them our names actually were Ryan (me) and Kristen (my brother).

I dunno, my parents were pretty sure I was a girl. I was going to be Juliette, but then my grandpa said "NO!". His mother's name was Juliette, and he hated his mother, sadly... heh

I would have been William, after my grandfather. It's really nothing special, as my sister would have been named William if she were born a boy, but she wasn't, so they just moved it down one child.

My name is Christian and my parents would have called me Chloe if I was a girl, which I'm not. (But Chloe is an awesome name and if I ever have a girl, I will call her Chloe).

My name would have been Emily, my mother's favorite name - unless my older brother was my older sister. In that case, I have no idea. Is it odd for so many people to know this about themselves?

No, I don't think so. I mean, I found out about it in very casual ways, like, "Oh you like a boy named James? We almost named you that."

I did find out that my middle name was supposed to be Michelle, but my father was late getting to the hospital after work, and when he got there it was something quite different.

I've never asked, but if I had a choice I'd want to be Archimedes. I love that name. A genius mathematician, physicist, engineer, astronomer, philosopher... and a talking owl.

I don't think my parents ever had a boys name for me. The doctors were worried that my mothers pregnancy wasn't going well, so they did an ultra-sound which also by default revealed my gender. I guess if I had been a boy, I would have my brothers name, which was picked because it was the only name my mom could think of that my dad did not know someone with that name he didn't like.

I asked Mom about this today, and she told me she'd been planning to name me Christina Marie had I been a girl -- except then her sister had a girl named Christine, and then Dad's brother's wife had a girl named Maria. D'oh.~

Yeah, Names are interesting. But the funny thing is, Though I was born a girl I was still given a man's name. I was named after Carl Morgan Adams, A great great uncle of mine. OH well, I guess it;s better than Jennifer or Amanda like my mother origionally decided ><.

John. Which I think is a good name. (But who knows if I'd think so after 25 years with it, if I had been a guy.)

To this day, I like names that start with 'J' - and I liked 'em before I knew this.

Spooky? Cool? You decide. ;)
