This is a project I've had in my head for about a week now.

Last week, during my weekly excursions into WaldonBooks, I came across these Naruto headbands:

Since then, I've had this idea floating around in my head to do a photo project downtown with the headband in each shot. Not tied onto anything, but just placed in certain spots around town like stopsigns and benches.

Sound like a good idea?

Those things are such a waste of money XD They're like 35-40 dollars!

Actually, these were only $12.99. Plus I have a Boarders Club card, so it will be a little less than that!

Well it depends really. The "Bandai" ones that they sell are like mega expensive. These have the metal place with the engraved symbol on it.

Then you get the cheap ones where the metal part is a gray piece of cloth.

These are metal plates and etched with the "Hidden Leaf" symbol on them. The question is, does my photo project sound like a good idea?

Honestly, I don't see a real point in it. I mean these can be sold everywhere.

And a lot of people are getting tired of Naruto's endless fillers. XD

I don't really see what the purpose would be, unless you were making a statement about the extremely overcommon use of them...

I think it would make an interesting series of photos, placing them strategically in the shots around the place. ^^

I plan on taking the headband and hang it on some random things like my beloved street signs or take pictures of it at different angles.

Thanks--on both counts! I keep my card on my keychain! I always use it when I'm getting my monthly copy of Newtype USA Magazine.

BUMP!

Okay. Here's the deal, guys. I had every intention on investing in the Nartuo Headband and going downtown, but the weather down here has been pretty cold and cloudy. I really wanted to have a nice sunny day out for this particular project, but it just wasn't happening. So I decided to delay until the weather improves. Sorry!
