This defines awesome, if you ask me. I just want to know what inexcusably stupid reason there was for banning the project.

Maybe because most people don't like to have a total stranger come up and suddenly hug them.

If I lived in a city with a large commuter population, I would do this; but alas, I live in Omaha.

Heartwarming to say the least. I almost cried (and I barely ever do). It struck me as showing God's love in a pratical way to everyone (and some would need it more than others). Not sure if the guy is Christian, but he's certainly got his head screwed on straight.

For the most part, those involved just waited for people to come up to them and ask.

And even so, making it illegal just like that is rather a drastic move.

I didn't say anything about making it illegal,I just noted that most people are a bit
ill at ease when it comes to being hugged by complete strangers,even if it is voluntary.

Ah, but they didn't have to if they didn't want to. He wasn't forcing them to have hugs, or even looking down on them if they didn't. He didn't only hug the good looking girls (as a pervert would) but also old ladies, men, women, kids etc.

Lol that is so cool! I thin that's great! One thing though is I don't like so much contact with someone I don't really know. lol Although I am a hugger. ^_^

While I think it's a neat idea, I am all for having such things banned. It's all for public safety I guess.

I wouldn't really want to hug somebody I didn't know though...
