*edit* We finished Journey to Hell

We've been putting on this event every night since Sunday, basicly the sanctuary was turned into Hell, with the walls covered black and the lights black and red, and the stage has cages and cells and pits and stuff, there are demons around torturing people... well the point is what Hell is going to be like. Jesus visits a girl while she's sleeping and takes her into Hell so she can tell others about it. It has been very sucessful, a lot of people have accepted Christ, and we knew this would be the most important night, being Halloween and everything.

Well tonight, we prayed harder and longer than ever, about everything, made sure we were 100% prepaired. But we could feel that there was something not right.. 5 people involved had some bad problems at random times through the performance. Two people stopped responding and passed out (off stage/hidden) and started shaking and got cold and pale, it was crazy. They were all okay afterward though.

Anyway, I would apreciate it if you guys prayed for us tommorrow, cause we're doing the whole thing THREE TIMES in a row for the final day, and I don't want anything to go wrong again. Some of us have gotten sick and others just aren't feeling well. We're starting at 6pm and ending some time past 11pm.

Not sure if Jesus taking a girl to Hell to tell others about it is theologically correct but I will pray for your team. Sounds as if there's some serious spiritual warfare going on.

Well yeah, I didn't make that clear.. she's having a vision but it's played out like it's really happening. At the end she breaks character and talks directly to the audience.

Thanks for the prayer, and to anyone else. I've gotta get some sleep and prepair for tommorrow.

Is this by chance in Tennesee? (is that the state?) Is your church a Baptist Church? If so, my sunday school teacher has been to this sort of performance!! It sounded really neat!!! He told us about it and I was like "I wish I could go!!" XO

Good luck!! I am sure it's probably just nerves! Don't give Satan credit, just put your faith in the Big J-C!

Tennesee? No. Baptist? No. Nerves? I doubt nerves could cause those symptoms. Anyway, we think we figured out what the problem was. The people were apparently having a combination of bad reactions:

1. They were close to the fog machines. Which wouldn't have been a problem, except...
2. They weren't breathing much because of...
3. Heat exhaustion plus...
4. Low blood sugar and...
5. Lots of fatigue.

So we changed some stuff and didn't have any problems tonight during any of our three performances in a row. Yay! ^_^

We had to work more than three times as hard tonight because not only did we do it all three times, but we had to change stuff, and then put a lot of stuff away after we were done. Which included hundreds of folding chairs. =D It was sooo much fun. I'm going to miss it so much!
