I've been off and on with CAA for god knows how long, but, i'm like not recognizing alot of the oldies that used to post regularly, you guys still lurking aaound?

Hmmm, that probably depends on which oldies you're talking about. :-P

Well I've still been as active as ever. Though there seems to be a lot less going on around here, I'll give you that.

Most likely you just haven't happend across the posts of some of the people you used to see, but there are probably those who have left as well. Perhaps it would be helpful to name some of the people you haven't seen in some time.

Also, let me give a general note: let's try to put some content in this thread, or discussion of how membership changes over time. A thread full of "I'm here" wouldn't serve a great deal of purpose.

I know I'm someone who's odlerish and still around... although there was a time where I left way back when for a fair amount of months...

Although yeah lots might have left, it seems like lately there's been quite a few people returning from back in 03 and stuff. So *shrugs* You never know^^ Personally, I think it's great when older people come back and are active once again. I dunno, I just like it with forums are busy, and always active^^

On the one hand, I remember a lot of entertaining posts by people like Ingemar and Impact Alberto, back when they posted more.

On the other hand, there were the weirdos, like that Kaligraphic dude. He was just strange.

Impact died, don't you remember that? He died for being so awesome. The earth could not handle it.

I've notice a lot of formerly frequent posters are lurking about more these days then actually posting. I would wager a guess that there a few things contributing to this, such as spending most of your time here in a particular forum of interest.

If you don't post in general or goof off then it seems like you aren't around much, even if you are posting daily elsewhere.

Yay, there my oldies are, but i was talking about some of my friends, like ColbaltAngel, Sunako, Locke, what happened to those sons of guns?

Locke is still around a kicking. I see him mostly in the jam section though. I think that I might qualify for oldie status. I think that I just past the three year mark. And I haven't changed my name yet! Plus I think I've gone through maybe 4 avatars in these three years.

I potter about. ^__^ Sunako has, unfortunately, left the site, probably for good. ;_; We miss her...

If you stick around long enough, you'll run into more of the oldies. A good number of them are around, but post less often.

How could I forget you

I've noticed the member base has changed a bit. ;__; I miss Coby and Sunako and the old bishie thread denizens a lot. Good times, people.

Wall Coby posts sometimes now and then. She did have a leave of absence for a while.

I think I qualify. I used to be aku_soku_zan. I've been Kkun for a while now........but yeah.

I came around during the hey-day of the General being more interesting than usual. It was cool. There was a sandwich that sang.


Also, I claim CAA fame forever for being the First Person to start a board group, thus kicking off the great wave of such groups. Of course, I won't speak of being the first to start a running joke group like A.P.P.L.E. P.I.E. or the Fun groups like that, but as for yall who belong to groups gathered for specific purposes (Like the Wolf Pack, or the old Elves, or even the modern day Pinapple whatsit thread) You have me to thank for fathering the trend. Or to blame.

For realiously. I've been Kkun so long, I sometimes think it's my real name. It WAS before the name change, wasn't it?

We've lost a lot of older members in the last year, but there's still a good number of us. Coby-chan, for example. was lurking around the other day. *grabs Coby so she can't make another stealthy get away.*

Yeah it's interesting seeing all you (us?) oldies who've been around forever but have changed your names. I'm like "hey a noob, wait they've been on for two years?"
